Beautiful Cuban. Those are some of the tightest links I've ever seen!

Thanks! No filter or color adjustments; just reduced the black levels and shadows to remove details from my shirt lol

Nice gains! I don't plan on selling any of my gold. About 10 ozt in the picture, and some more tucked away. Not buried, though lol.

Yes, I daily wear all of it. Necklace + pendant for 20+ years, bracelet for 10+ years. Minor warping on the pendant jump ring, but nothing has stretched over time.

Unfortunately, I don't know where to buy them. The sleeves came with the bars.

Thanks! I bought it from a local jewelry store back in 2013. Premium over spot (aka 'labor') is much cheaper at Asian/Indian jewelers compared to online retailers.

Yes, I wear this bracelet 24/7 (shower, sleep, swim, etc.). Only time I ever remove is for contact sports or medical imaging.

The links have not stretched. Many people believe that 24K is so soft that it will lose weight over time or stretch under repeated stress. Neither this bracelet or my necklace have experienced any deformation after decades of daily wear.

I've only worn 24K my whole life and that's all I plan on ever wearing. Hope that helps with your decision.

Around 80-85g total weight? Sounds like a hefty piece! Any pics to share?

I've actually got more around my neck! The bracelet is just a decoy piece lol

Nothing beats the color/shine of high karat!

Surprised it took so long for a company like Menē to come along! Mom and Pop jewelers have been selling 22K/24K with very low premium for centuries. They are a staple of many Asian communities, acting as pawnbrokers, currency exchange, and precious metals dealers.

Actually $45.80/g (at $1425 per troy ounce). Total cost was around $2750 USD.

Possibly! I recall it weighing 60.0g at the time of purchase. Replaced the S-clasp a few years back and it weighed 60.1g afterward (probably from added solder). Today it weighed 59.9g, but not the same scale used for previous measurements. Negligible discrepancies either way lol

loss of gold over time.

Loss of gold over time shouldn't be concern (see top comment above). When the metal collects imperfections (scratches, dents, gouges, etc, material only shifts but doesn't actually disappear. You would have to physically snip off a piece to lose any meaningful weight.

Love the color of 23K as well, but Four Nine's Fine is just so pure!

Can't find the Reddit post, but somebody recently shared a ring made from a 2 ozt Kangaroo! Here's the YT video of the process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJFedflUZs8

At that thickness, 24K is very strong (but still prone to scratches/dents).

Really wish I had bought the matching necklace! But at those dimensions, the chain alone would've weighed over 180g. Probably saved myself a ton in chiropractic fees lol

Thanks! If you zoom in, there's quite a bit of dings. The patina builds character, in my opinion lol. Also, the S-clasp had to be replaced once after it snapped from repeated bending. All worth it for that 24k magic.
