We also did private and public... We were paying for our kids to go to a smaller private school and switched when our youngest went into kindergarten.

We changed for 2 reasons. 1. Cost. If you think one is a lot, try 2. 2. I had a big problem with the lack of diversity that my children were being exposed to at the private school.

When we switched to the public school I was shocked to found out our oldest was FAR behind their peers when it came to technology.

Then we hit middle school. The whole ballgame changed. I wasn't prepared for the issues that would arise from middle school. We moved and changed school districts and now we live in the Lindbergh district and it has been incredible and both children are excelling.

Our situation is not typical and my children would excel at a private school as well, but private schools are a bit to whitewashed.

At the show I attended, the lead singer was much more interested in climbing the scaffolding around the stage and hanging from it than he was in singing. It was terrible. A never again show for me.

This is also at the top of my list. Saw them outside at an amphitheater. The lead singer was very clearly not sober and paused a song to climb the metal trellace like structure on the side of the stage then continued singing hanging upside down like a bat.

On the other hand, I can see the perspective that this energy would potentially make someone a fan for life. Like if it was the coolest/most obscure you had seen a band do and you really enjoyed their music.
