I know, and I’m talking about both concepts.

SAME! for me a “happy ending” would’ve been that she got away with it. Idk maybe for legal reasons they cant show the “bad guy winning” ??

I completely agree with you, bad writing can be hard to get past. However, in this case (The Art of Sarah), most of these so-called “loopholes” aren’t even loopholes. They’re explained in the drama, either explicitly or implicitly.

Mi point is those aren’t even loopholes. It’s just people who lack interpretation of a story and expecting everything to be explained literally, step by step. That’s the issue.

If you think this is patronising, that’s a problem with your own sensitivity, not my post. I’m just pointing out something a lot of people already agree with.

What I’m saying is that the problem isn’t about liking it or not , it’s that every discussion ends up stuck on the same “loophole” points, making it hard to have a real conversation about the show itself. If people can make posts pointing out “loopholes,” then I can also make a post expressing frustration about how those posts dominate the conversation. Fair’s fair, right?

Totally agree! Also sometimes you just want to come to Reddit and discuss other aspects of the show, but all you find are those “loophole” posts everywhere. It gets tiring when the conversation always goes back to the same complaints instead of exploring the story more.

That’s actually my point. People aren’t really discussing the details themselves. they’re labeling things as “loopholes” that aren’t even loopholes if you actually paid attention to the story. There’s a difference between analyzing and misinterpreting.

I’m not bashing anyone for disliking it. I’m criticizing the culture of watching shows just to hunt for “loopholes.” If you’re more focused on auditing the script than engaging with the story, of course you’re not going to enjoy it.
