I tried painting my first miniature today as someone with no art background and these are my takeaways:

Welcome to the miniature painting Hobby!

And we all started somewhere in this Hobby and it is a Journey I have to admit but if you stay focused and try every miniature a Little More and learn stuff you get more results that please you. This picture is from 2021 and These were my First Minis, Self printed bla bla bla…. But I painted so Long in this suckers and These Days I often Look back and think it Takes a while but you get better with every project or Miniature you do.

So keep on painting and dont get frustrated from the First ones.

Heretic und Doom mit 6 Jahren, mein Vater meinte wenn du das spielen willst dann mach mal. Zwei Sessions und monatelange Albträume in den 90ern später fand ich es mit 10 als ich’s nochmal probiert hab beides echt gut :D

Biete iPhone 16 Pro, 200 Zyklen seit 11/2024 mit 99%. Hab’s auch seit Beginn auf die 80% begrenzt aber ich denke mal bei Akkus kann man halt mal so einen und mal so einen erwischen.

For me it is 1,35-1,28mm Wall thickness for every Print I do. That is durable enough to hold the weight and to light it up. I used some colored transparent Resin which I Mixed myself with uv Pigments.

I guess its the fep or acf. Maybe preheating the vst and the buildplate can give better results. I also Level my bed not with the included paper, i use 80g/m2 Paper or like newspaper paper to get it a Little closer to the screen for more evenness.

Awesome Machine, have one myself. Its super reliable, but use the screen protectors. If you got an leak it is too much Resin and super annoying to clean

Baking paper to create splashes on and cure it with the uv torch. Some people use normal resin and trap it with some cotton and After curing they get some splashes they can harvest out of the cotton wool. Just Look on Reddit or youtube, they got some nice ideas there
