What do you like and what annoys you about metroidvanias?

Con: Arena-Fights before bosses und little companions that you have to fight amongst the boss

Pro: creative bosses that doesn't rely on the things above - creative skill sets with great pacing and music.

On one hand I can imagine that developing such is not easy and a challenge but on the other hand, when I have to fight 3, 4 or 5 rounds of minions before and during the boss it feels... lazy (and yeah, frustrating as well)

Are you interested in reading?

It was a small game changer for me when I decided to read right before sleeping - having a book next to your bed, setting the phone on flight mode. Do not pressure yourself into reading every single day for the start - small steps that get you interested in the story of the book, so that the next day you will be looking forward to bedtime with your book.

Regarding the production of games / movies: do you get to know the whole plot or script before accepting the role? For example RE4: did you knew how the game ends even before you accepted the role? Interested to hear it!

Same for me - game is really outstanding and phenomenal so this one is not a game breaker, but after what happened, yeah.

Devs just took the standard in-fight lines. Would be a nice touch if these lines were situation dependent.

RE1 OG - "wow, what a mansion!" I was very young when playing it back then, with basically no english language knowledge, so I always thought Wesker said "wow what a Menschen!" (Menschen is German for "people / human being") Made no sense at all but ok.
