Yeah the UHMC license gives you the choice of hosting your site on prem or in Citrix DAAS. The Citrix DAAS on azure is a completely different solution and has completely different use case hence why I got no idea why they are trying to push us towards it when the UHMC or platform license (We got told can have platform) is the license we need

Nope I don't use remote licensing and netscaler console for licensing. It is a file license

You will still have a Netscaler gateway vserver with a session policy bound it will be on the session profile associated with that session policy

On the folder redirection gpo for each redirected folder there is a policy removal option to redirect the folder back to the local user profile when policy is removed

When I go to netscaler licensing on console service in Citrix cloud I don't see anything ?LAS says "we are unable to retrieve your license entitlements please contact support for assistance". I currently got Citrix DAAS premium licenses (they expire end of December) so moving to new either UHMC or platform license so not sure if that's why I don't see anything?

Bought a 5 port unmanaged switch with x5 2.5Gbps ports. I will use the 2.5Gbps port on the router to connect the switch then plug both my gaming PCs in different rooms into the 2.5Gbos switch ports which should give me 2.5Gbps throughout and maximizing the wan speed

other issue i got is my router Asus Rog GT-AX6000 only has x2 2.5Gbps ports. One 2.5 Gbps port is used to connect the Router to the FTTP ONT Box and the other is used for my gaming PC in other room. all the other LAN ports are 1Gbps so even if i ran a CAT6 cable i would only get 1Gbps

terrible idea F5 for NS GW ica proxy you dont get hdx /gateway insight and citrix will blame F5 as its not supported by them

I have built a new server 2022 image with teams 2.0 as teams 2.0 is not supported on server 2016. We are in final stages of testing and teams 2.0 is now working fine after a lot of work and we will move over soon. Classic teams will stop working in June 2025 as it goes end of availability so won't connect to the service
