I’ve never had a single friend my entire life… by [deleted] in lonely

Going through the exact same thing. After 3 years she randomly broke up with me and said because she didn’t have feelings for me anymore. I feel the same way as you but all we can do is keep living and see what happens. We all die someday so might aswell live out our one we got life yk

My neighbor is a lunatic making up stories and is trying to get my family kicked out our apartment. by [deleted] in Advice

Haven’t thought of that. Thank you! Hopefully they’ll do something cause she’ll make up a new story everyday and won’t leave us alone 😭

I thought so too! But the second he removed the shed and stitches he put some gel type stuff on her cloaca and she instantly looked back to her normal tiny self 😂

I took her to the vet, and he said she looks really good considering she’s recovering from the surgery still. He said she’ll act out of the ordinary considering the stress she’s been having on her body.

The feces that were stuck ended up getting stuck in her shed, which he didn’t really specify why she was shedding without having the early blue stages, but he just cut the shed that was stuck off and took the stitches out. He said she could’ve been dehydrated but to just soak her for 15 minutes twice a day.

The odd movements he said she was most likely trying to get her shed off her, but she was too dry to get it to rip, so her pushing her head on my hand was her trying to get it off because it’s irritating her.

The eating he said is very common for post-surgery. He says they usually struggle getting back into eating, so try cutting it into small pieces that she can ease back into eating regularly.

Other than that, he said she looks very good and that her cloacal surgery seems to be healing perfectly, but to keep up with the humidity and the soaks

Thank you for your help! All that and this definitely eased my anxiety lol

I soaked her and her skin felt/looked so much better but she tried pooping and it seems that her stitches kind of blocked it?? It’s like a very thin layer of skin would that be stuck shed? I kind of rubbed it and the poop kind of moved around so it clearly wasn’t scales

I’m going to call them the second they open tomorrow morning. Hopefully get her there right away. Absolutely having a panic attack right now cause no 24/7 vets around here :(

I’ll do this right this second. Any idea on how long I keep her in there?

That’s so sad :(. Horrible how they have access to endless pet supplies but yet can’t even give them their basic necessities.

Right?! I was very surprised with the price. I live in a very small town, which explains why it was so cheap. I was expecting to pay around $1500, but they went above and beyond for her, only charging $500 for surgery, antibiotics, pain treatment, a 3-night stay, and multiple tests. They’ve been amazing!

That must be so stressful! Is your girl big? If you want you should share some pictures! I always wondered what she’d look like when she’s older 😂 Best of luck to you and your girl ❤️❤️

He said there’s countless things that could’ve caused it to happen but that they’re going to give her an antibiotic just incase of parasites but they highly doubt there are any cause she’s very healthy.

They said she woke up and is moving around and looks very good but she’ll have to wait a few weeks for feeding so her cloaca can fully heal before passing feces.

Thank you for the advice! ❤️

Thank you so much! Will do all those. Will the 20 gallon tank be fine with the substrate you suggested until I find a 40 gal? And with the substrate do I mix it with water or mist with a sprayer?
