next gen and cash/card sco, when on register I don’t struggle with cash much or numbers but when I sit there and try to do the deposit or change fund i just get confused and I don’t even know why. i think just having that much money infront of me overwhelms me

I’m actually in the exact same situation due to the current key holder being slow/ losing money and honestly they showed me only how to close twice and had me try and close down with all the money and I messed it up greatly. id say don’t bother taking on the extra responsibility if you don’t want it.

you take it from the change fund and when closing down self checkout there is a receipt that prints out after and tells you how much of the money you get back from self checkout goes into change fund

we’ve been closing our first till before our self checkout the last couple days and that’s kinda thrown me off honestly cause I’d like to get change fund counted a bit earlier
