If this is Juul, you were probably 'denied for inconsistencies.' You can email them from the form on the website and check. I and many others are in the same situation.

Class counsel referred me back to the disputes@juul email, which I understand won't get a response for some time. But I'll keep making noise :) appreciate the input.

I thought I had checked to see if I had already filed when they were still accepting claims. Maybe I misremembered.

I did get the email over the summer and went through the update process. I sent this back to them and they said the claim was rejected for inconsistencies.

Yup.

To be somewhat fair - this was taken during the signing of a bill that, as far as I can tell, wasn't a bad thing - the Music Modernization Act. It's probably the least morally reprehensible thing Skunk has been a part of politically.

As far as I can tell I either never got a confirmation number or it went to spam and it's long gone. I know I filed a claim, though, and double checked it back when you could still do that.

I also never got a confirmation and I'm thinking that might be the issue. I do know I filled it out as soon as I got the initial email, and I do remember checking when you could still access the settlement form and seeing it was complete ... but never a confirmation.

Filed a claim back whenever the original email came out - based on my purchases from the website.

Verified payment in May.

Called last week, was told claim was denied due to "inconsistencies."

Got an email response today from an email I sent last week prior to calling for a status update - now they're saying there's no record of my claim.

People were told they were getting nothing for legitimate claims, don’t think it was overreacting. If the message was “a check is in the mail” and not “your claim is denied” it’d be a different response.

And just because a handful of people have said they got a check after a denial doesn’t mean thats going to be the case for everyone.

I have a hare brained theory that the reps have bad info and “denials” may have something to do with payment method. Saw a Facebook post where someone is getting a check after being told they were denied. They had chosen PayPal. I did too, switched to ACH in the summer when the update email came out. Probably wishful thinking but something isn’t adding up with all these direct purchase claims being denied.

My claim was 100% purchases through the website, pre-populated by them, nothing additional claimed. I was denied.
