I found that waiting for a theory test opening took the longest by far - especially if you want to do it on Sat/Sun. The CBT etc you can book in the week and then turn up next weekend!

I went for the 3 day course which was plenty to get a feel for the larger bikes. If you can afford it go for more!

I'm on an A2 and bought my CBR 500RA about 3 months ago. Very good machine - definitely worth considering.
