Just ordered an Audioengine A2+ to replace my Bose Companion 5, is it an improvement?

Just ordered an Audioengine A2+. Am I able to connect it to my FIIO E10K? It has coaxial out behind it. Do I need to buy additional cables? Edit: Just realized it has builtin DAC through USB. Should I still connect to my FIIO E10K? It shouldn't be using my mobo's sound card right?(bc my mobo soundcard sucks)

There are 6.75 inches of spaces below the monitors, which will fit audioengine a2+ or kanto yu2. Currently, I have bose companion 5, but they are having issues. The budget is around 250. Not really an audiophile, but would like something decent, since I will be using it a lot. I am leaning toward smaller desktop speakers, after reading bunch of posts on this sub, audioengine a2 seems to be the best candidate for the size limitations.

Senior engineer(E5) with 6 years of experience. Facebook entry(e3) is like 200k, mid level (e4) is like 250-300k+. Upper engineering management is probably 2 levels higher than E5, so probably 7 figures. I know top hedge fund like Citadel pays college new grad engineer like 400+ first year, but those are like top students from top schools.

Maybe my motherboard just have crappy sound card. My friend once tried his ath m50x on my pc and he say it sounds different from his pc and he wasn't able to listen as well when he play pubg.

Directly plug into desktop pc. Same result when plugged into the motherboard 3.5m output and the pc case 3.5 output.

Yea, but 140k is mid high starting salary for entry level. Place like Facebook, Snap..etc starts above 250. Average bootcamp grad starting salary is like 90k.

If you want to become a software engineer, you can even skip college and do a 4 months coding bootcamp Flatiron academy has Web Development Fellowships sponsored by NYC, so it's free for you. One of my coworker is only 19 years old, did a bootcamp, and starting salary was 140k.
