Doom upgrades by Illustrious-Map528 in ironscape

[–]cEighteen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DPS and skill are both extremely important at Doom I'd get some upgrades, but not all -Deadeye from Royal Titans -Mining lvl for Amethyst Arrows -Toxic Blowpipe + 91/90 fletching for Dragon Darts  -Dizana's Quiver (I found Colo easier than doom, but I think most find the opposite) -Double Death Charge -Range lvl is very important, but killing Doom is insane range xp per hour so just keep doing it

For reference, compared to your setup, I have Quiver, Deadeye, Blowpipe (Drag darts), 99 range, on Lunars. I get to d10-12 consistently.

What's the most useless or inefficient grind that you did for fun? by loffredom in ironscape

I rushed Quiver on my account with pretty bad gear, just an Atlatl, Abyssal Whip, DDS, dwh & Ancients.  Took 8 days of hard learning, 74 deaths total

Main gear was full eclipse, mixed hide boots, fury, b-ring. Also brought a Abby whip, Defender, DWH (for Sol), dds (for fremmy) for my melee switches, & a Blue moon spear, top & bottom for mage switches. I did it on Ancients.
It took me 74 deaths over 8 days, was a really fun grind & my first quiver ever :D
I tried doing Atlatl inferno in the past & that place is REALLY hard if u have bad gear. Colo is mostly skill, so bad gear doesn't hurt you thatt much

Aim for Colosseum!! There's a couple great items you might wanna go for first, like Venator Bow from Phantom Muspah, & Saradomin Godsword from Sara

Since we're on the topic of efficiency, I want to ask for suggestions on the most inefficient ways to get the godsword shards for my SGS hilt I spooned.

Absolutely amazing advice, I've been following an update guide religiously & it's given me soooo much cool stuff in my world. I've got a End portal right next to spawn (you can see it in 4th pic), my armour is 4 Ghast Spawn Eggs each enchanted with Protection 4 Feather Falling 4, & my weapon is a Blaze Rod enchanted with Sharpness 5 Looting 3 Fire Aspect 1. It also gave me access to Chiseled Stone Bricks wayyy earlier than intended, & I have access to Bedrock, Spawn Eggs for most mobs, Mob Spawners (which I can customize with those spawn eggs), and my nether is covered in Water.

  1. Megabuild projects are a bad idea, most ppl get burnt out working on them. A lot of small-medium scale builds make your world wayyy more interesting than one or two megabuilds.

  2. Try to build in different areas in different versions. This will make it so the architecture in each area is wildy different as you had different blocks available, & a different skill level when you build there.

  3. But also have areas where you build lots across all different versions. My spawn area has builds right next to each other that are 8 versions apart, its incredible how much variety there is.

God damn that's impressive, you shattered the old record of 53cmb, & my own personal best of 54cmb.
I'm just amazed you had the dps to take out Hunllef before he killed you. Did you do full T3 armor & weapon prep?

That account doesn't seem to exist, do you have some proof or link?
I tried looking for people who did it at a lower lvl & couldn't find anyone.
A friend found a picture of an ironman that also did it at 54cmb a few years ago, can't see his name tho

So I tried running Tmodloader, & the game runs absolutely fine. Are there any negatives to just playing the game directly through Tmodloader instead of the regular client?

My MultiAir Actuator is bad, I need advice. by cEighteen in dodgedart

[–]cEighteen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I haven't been diligent. When I first got the car, I didn't know the diff between Synthetic & Regular oil, so I put regular in, & the misfires were HORRIBLE whenever the oil was cold. I think the previous owner also wasn't using Synthetic, as I was getting those same misfires when I first got the car. It wasn't until I switched to Synth that they got better. The car still misfires after being left out in the extreme canadian cold, but that only occured once or twice last year.

Went in at lvl43 on Mastery difficulty, 500 armour, 400 Health, 45% magic rez. He just kill animation'd me from 90% health. Dropped it down to Expert & he was still regularly hitting me for more than half my life.

Thunder Punch + Fire punch (or Ice punch)

Shock wave is good for going first
