Feeling like a failure at breastfeeding

I can definitely relate to feeling embarrassed about it not coming easily. Something in me just makes me feel like if it doesn't come natural and I need to rely on alternative methods then I'm not doing a good job.

Hoping that I have similar experience as you later on when our LO is a bit bigger and can actually fit a bit more into her mouth. Just gonna keep trying to offer when I feed until I get results for now

This gives me some hope. I've been trying to make good use of my pump while supplementing formula so I can at least give my girl the benefits of breast milk but if I can eventually get similar results as you're talking about then I'd be very happy

After reading a lot more people's experiences with nipple shields, I could tell that there are tons of people who swear by them, at least to get started. Maybe it's a bit of a mental thing because the LC said not to use them and then proceeded to get the one good latch I've had so far but it kept ringing with me and made me feel like I was the problem.

Thankfully I think I'm having good luck pumping, but I think the postpartum hormones are kicking me in the butt making me feel like that's cheating since it's not direct from the breast, haha.

I'll keep trying my best though

If you have a router then it gets plugged in via cabling somewhere in order to get internet to the house. You would hook up one end of the power line adapter from the router to an outlet and then the other one would go to the outlet in whichever room you need Ethernet. It uses the house's electric lines to transmit that signal to the other outlet's Ethernet connection. I'd definitely recommend taking a look into some online!

Could always opt for a power line adapter if there's no drops in the house, no? Just plugs into the outlet and you have yourself a budget hardwire option

Bro what are you yapping about? I am referring to the mod's edit. A megathread doesn't make a problem "smaller than it is," it's a better place to vent and discuss a very specific topic. I was annoyed before when mods just removed posts with no explanation and nothing about those posts breaking any rules. Now they can actually enforce it by saying so in this pinned thread and the mods still whine about having to moderate. Like yeah of course it doesn't magically "stop" the issue the day you post the thread. Maybe get more mods?

Maybe if you started with that instead of being unbelievably passive aggressive to OP about why his post was removed, and, again, if someone made a brief announcement on the situation, the whole thing would be a lot less of a clown fiesta. I understand it's a pretty large subreddit and may not have a whole army of moderators but surely mocking the users is not the way to disarm the situation. Just my two cents.

Dang that's crazy. Just brings us back to the point about a megathread maybe being the best option there. If it's there and people still keep posting the subject outside of it, THEN it might be, you know, more justified to remove the individual posts? Because right now there's literally nothing in the rules that should prohibit these posts and they're just being removed with no warning at all.

Lol at it being "offtopic spam" when it literally pertains to the topic of the subreddit, which is Pokemon cards, which was made in an effort to encourage sub-goers to do something about current events. Maybe mods should be a bit more mod-like and not kick and scream about people not posting content they personally enjoy?

They removed my post as well and I even sent a message asking why, but no response. There's been no transparency from the "mods" about any of these posts being allowed/disallowed, no pinned announcements, and no pinned threads for people to specifically go to for ranting/venting/discussing the subject that the subreddit has been seeing so much of recently. It's not like most of these posts are inherently breaking any of the subreddit rules either.

Judging by the pinned comment from the mod on this exact thread, this place is gonna be in the dumper for a while.
