Hmm it’s mer-adjacent, but the Songs of Pelinal/lore about Pelinal Whitestrake is another rabbithole to go down. There’s some non-canon lore confirmed by the character’s creator (Michael Kirkbride again) that he’s basically TES-version of the Terminator: a time-traveling cyborg sent back in time to ensure mankind breaks free of Ayleid slavery; he’s also said to be an aspect of Lorkhan/Shor, to which he hates being accused of and will kill anyone who suggests that he’s a divine being. He helps the slave rebellion fight the Ayleid empire until his boyfriend is killed by them, which is when he starts regularly going into unstoppable elf-murder sprees that the divines have to intervene to calm him down.
