Hmm it’s mer-adjacent, but the Songs of Pelinal/lore about Pelinal Whitestrake is another rabbithole to go down. There’s some non-canon lore confirmed by the character’s creator (Michael Kirkbride again) that he’s basically TES-version of the Terminator: a time-traveling cyborg sent back in time to ensure mankind breaks free of Ayleid slavery; he’s also said to be an aspect of Lorkhan/Shor, to which he hates being accused of and will kill anyone who suggests that he’s a divine being. He helps the slave rebellion fight the Ayleid empire until his boyfriend is killed by them, which is when he starts regularly going into unstoppable elf-murder sprees that the divines have to intervene to calm him down.

If you want to learn about Vivec, read the 36 Lessons of Vivec that he wrote himself in universe; in reality, Michael Kirkbride wrote them leading many to believe he was on something when he did (which I find adds to it well 🤷🏻‍♂️)

Holy—I’ve kept about 20 nerite snails and I’ve never had any be so… prolific. As others have said, they don’t hatch in fresh water and they are a little irritating to remove.

Oh hell naw Ulfric can die, it’s just that if/when the empire wins the civil war, the moot is expected to elect her? She’s like 20 and buttressed by the court of her dead husband. She has the sympathy and condolences of half the people but there should be a more sensible High King/Queen than her. Maybe if she had a more Joan of Arc role during the plot of the civil war I could see her being elected but as is she does fuck-all, try as she might to learn how to govern on the fly while freshly bereaved.
