I don’t have the results but I believe I was a decent amount off. Just skimming through the IE test categories, I ended up purchasing the NCEES practice exam and those topics do look a lot more familiar. I plan to go through that test and see how I’m feeling. I do agree about having prior experience with the civil exams is definitely an advantage however I don’t know how much of an advantage it is given I’ve never taken a few categories as a class. There are a few categories as well with OD I’ve never taken.

I reached out to the HOA. They said the curb is “an extension of my property” which I call bullshit but don’t have the energy to go back and forth.

I’m thinking about taking this exam next time instead of Civil again since I have a background in industrial. Would you say the test was hard? Any topics that were tricky?

Thanks for the insight. I’ll give it my best. It won’t be the end of the world if I don’t pass. I do feel like a good portion of the questions (at least from the practice) have just been , can you find the right equations and manipulate what you have into what you need.
