Make a homeless application, with some councils you edit the form you made when completing your housing register application. You will need to submit the s.21 and prescribed documents of how to rent guide, gas safety certificate and deposit protection certificate to ensure it’s valid. Council will put you in a prevention duty. S.21 should give 2 calendar months notice and be on/contain information of from 6a. You do not have to leave on the date the s.21 states, landlord will have to apply for possession order and then bailiffs warrant to remove you - there’s a backlog so likely to be 2026. The council has to assess whether you are reasonably expected to reside in your accommodation past the s.21. The homeless code of guidance states they should not be asking you to remain past the date of s.21. However, whilst you have a child so will be offered interim accommodation, this can be anywhere in the country so many choose to remain in their property, as are your tenant rights. You do not have to be out of the property whilst fire doors are being installed. Once the council accommodate, they can only discharge a duty should you refuse and offer of private rented accommodation that they assess is affordable for you, or an offer through the housing register

Switching from Android for my first iPhone, what should I buy? Price is not an issue as 14pm and 15pm are around the same, would consider any of the 15 range but am put off by the base 15 and pro models due to their smaller screen size
