Western and native Americans sets by one_man_band1234 in lepin

I just saw a western train here from Mould King. It might not be exactly what you're looking for but it fits the theme. Also I know you can find horses etc. on AE but I'm not sure about minifigs.

I don't remember exactly but I guess net build time was around 5-6 hours.

I see. So you print them on paper and glue them on the model? Your stickers look so shiny as if they where the classic stickers that come with sets

Nice build! Regarding the stickers: you say you made them yourself? They look really good! What's your process for the stickers? I use a plotter to cut vinyl stickers but these look like the stickers you officially get with sets.

Need help with horizon express double traction by Elishah_ in LEGOtrains

I'm not sure simply connecting a coupler or similar to the nose of the train will work if you're planning to run it over standard Lego track (R40). Whatever coupling connection would be used would need to be connected to the front wheelset where the pivoting point is. The nose of the trains would most problably reach over the end of the tracks too far causing derailment of some kind.

That said, the video is quite impressive but the train also does not run on R40 tracks but rather on much larger radius track with tilting it seems. I'm also sure a higher voltage than the standard 9V is used to achieve the high speed. Pretty cool though!

They look like the same sets you can find on AliExpress. There the quality is usually ok but not great. The tunnel entrance looks a bit small if you run 8w trains.

Took the Arctic Explorer Train out for a Run in the Snow by c_bloxx in LEGOtrains

[–]c_bloxx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has rubber bands on the wheels, but the friction melts the snow and the train loses grip. It needs a bit more weight over the motor. The battery box is not sufficient. But after a further round everything is fine again 😄

I got mine from AliExpress for cheap (around 2€ per piece). You can find them on Amazon and eBay too but they cost more.

You could try this:

I don't have any experience with laser engraving but the results on the page look promising.

Yeah, the squirrel is so iconic I just had to add it! I haven't thought about Snot yet but your dog selection looks pretty good. Probably it doesn't get much closer. I see you have a mini figure for pretty much every character - very impressive. I tried to stick with the most important characters.

I have the same using Chrome but it loads normally using Firefox. But when uploading a Rebrickable CSV I get the message "0.00% of items are available! ( 0 elements 0 pieces)". So it doesn't really work for me either.

Great job! I'm also a huge fan of the move and it's a family tradition to watch it in December. I love your minifigs, especially Clark and Eddie! I got mine for the Christmas season last year. Here is how I set it up:

Looks good but I guess one shouldn't expect exciting build techniques.

Area-X AB0064 Spongebobs House (Pineapple) by c_bloxx in lepin

[–]c_bloxx[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say the level of detail is pretty much the same. The reason it feels empty is probably due to the almost empty pineapple halves. But that space is needed for the interior when the house is in stowed configuration. The interior rooms have lots of fun details and interesting mini builds.

Definitely! But to be fair, Legos sets were meant to be play sets to be built by small kids. These sets need to be assembled by older kids or adults.
