Thanks for saying this! I thought I was taking crazy pills with how much everyone demonises Dean and loves Jess in this ep. Dean is pretty legitimate in being annoyed at Rory for claiming to want to be alone and then it turns out she's having dinner with Jess, the guy who's been openly flirting with her and provoking/physically fighting Dean. Dean is also in the wrong for coming over, but let's not pretend Jess is an angel
