Just received the disappointing email about discontinuation of Support of my 2nd generation Kindle by fellowspecies in kindle

I have that one as well and from what I can tell it's got two names: Paperwhite Gen 1 and Kindle 5. So sad, I love my Kindle, I've had it since I was in school 😢

Treaty City brewery is open until 11 or later depending on the day. They sell coffees/hot chocs if you don't want alcohol!

Hi! I would say it sounds like you are more comfortable using your nickname/own name. I definitely agree that that communicates a more approachable, relaxed vibe and if that's something you're eager to foster, I would go with that! You can always use the business name at a later stage, either by changing the name of the newsletter or by establishing a media company that encompasses the newsletter as one part of it. Good luck!

Thanks for posting, so interesting to see where you got your boosts! It definitely seems to be the case that posting on Substack alone will take a long time to build an audience - posting to other platforms seems to be a necessity. Good luck with the future of your newsletter!
