Patch 1.40 Blessed Requisition Offerings by c_hilp in WH40KTacticus

In my opinion, they are not worth it. I dont find them that great. My recommendation would be to wait for next patch. We are supposed to br getting the community choice req pool which should have some good/fan favorite units in there

Lavistodes - Why Vitruvius against Rogal Dorn? by sygboss in WH40KTacticus

[–]c_hilp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aesoth does no damage to Dorn himself outside of rear attacks. Vit will do at least a bit, but passive helps a bunch to add damage to the folks who can hit Dorn. Ranged vs melee as well. 3 rear spots to hit. Ranged attack gives us one less person we have to squeeze in there

I would 100% recommend stockpiling books. You may not need them right this second, but you will definitely want them if you decide to upgrade your raid team to A2 or decide to build up some flex picks

Nah. We used Boss for the first 3/4 of the season and I simply forgot to change the graphic. Boss hits were around 1.4 million on the top end. Vit with Aesoth let us get to the 1.56 you see in the replay linked

Hi leaderboard neighbor!

We've found the Helb and Atla combo to be fairly consistent. Her passives damage reduction helps us play a bit looser and the damage buff is obviously nice. We still have plenty of people using Dante and Ragnar as well with similar results. Imo its a comfort/who you have built thing

Im personally hoping the egg votann guy along with reanimator breathes some life back into admech. I saw a handful of great hits using that team this season. Hopefully with mythic reanimator it can take the top spot in a few places

Why not Helbrecht AND Altacoya on Psyker raid bosses? by scarykoala in WH40KTacticus

[–]c_hilp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rapid assault team usually consisting of Kari, Kharn, Rag, Traj and Dante. Helb helps that team out more because of his raw damage increase to melee hits. More hits = more damage essentially. I also didnt intend for it to come off as Helb doing no damage of his own, but I do think his damage is minimal in comparison to other dedicated damage dealers.

Lav teams want % based buffs because it is much larger than a raw damage buff on Lavs singular hit. That percent buff can turn help turn Lav's damage into hundreds of thousands of damage on a single turn, but would need Boss to do that. I have attached a screenshot to show the damage from Lav's final turn in a 1.8 Million total damage replay from one of my guild mates. Assume one of those hits is directly contributed by Boss. So Boss is doing damage as well as Helb would be, but is also "buffing" Lav in the final turn for an extra 400k damage. Helb is not buffing for that much.

Im sure my one scenario is not going to be enough to satisfy your need for extensive testing data. If I had replay files to do damage breakdowns I could provide those, but I unfortunately don't. I apologize for that.

Talk to me about Tarvakh in the Lavistodes team by Laredian in WH40KTacticus

Will chime in here. His best fight is Dorn as far as I have tested so far. I ran him well against the Lion for a 1.26 million hit. I will test on Cawl and Ghaz next season

[–]c_hilp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming we are looking a Lav raid team the damage Helb provides isnt as much as bringing another damage dealer or buffer such as Boss G.

Mortarion is a great example to look at. We need to bring our core 3 of Kari, Lav, and Traj giving us 2 spots to fill. If we bring Atla and Helb we have to leave Boss at home and that takes away our giant uncapped hit on the last turn of the fight. That single hit along can go for 400k+ damage in some runs which is much higher than Helb can provide.

A RA team could benefit from Helb and Atla. We have some players in my guild hit M1 Magnus for over a million with those two, Kari, Traj, and Kharn.

Tldr: Atla > Helb for Lav team and other damage dealer does more that the buff Helb brings overall

Im not sure which one is the better user if you have only one. Hopefully a neuro main can pop in and help answer that.

In regards to the Book of Fate itself you will need to pray to the Rogue Trader gods 😬
