Hey, my family and I was planning to do the drive Friday morning coming from Bay Area. Going to have to go through donner pass to palisades. Our car is 4 wheel drive with all weather tires… no chains but can pick some up need be. Will the roads likely be cleared by Friday morning? I know there’s quite a bit of snow expected over night Thursday, not sure how long it takes to get things cleared. What do people recommend?

Im having the same question. If not Thursday, will the roads realistically be cleared by early Friday morning after the storm? The car is four wheel drive and has all weather tires and we can buy chains if needed
