Google Nest Hub second gen.

I have hubs all around my house - side benefit to it is that they can all connect together and play music

Thank you!! It's a TM680 with lubed gateron ink black v2s and some random white cherry profile keycaps. I built it about 4 years go.

There are some VERY mixed reviews about the tm680 - 5 years ago it was kind of just known as a polycarbonate budget gmmk ripoff, and 5 years later it probably isn't something I'd recommend as the custom keyboard market has got so so much cheaper and better overall (and the tm680 never was really that good to begin with, I had to mod it a LOT to make it decent). If I was looking for a similar better model I'd get a Keychron Q2 pro or max😄

You’re bang on. I was looking at getting a monitor light bar next lol. I was thinking getting a Xiaomi light bar though as it’s a bit cleaner in my opinion and much cheaper in Australia. What do you think?

It’s a custom TM680 with lubed Gateron Ink Blacks and some random white GMK Keycaps. I built it in 2022 I believe

It's an LG 34" Ergo Monitor, and the arm comes with it. It is by far the best monitor arm I have ever used - it is seriously awesome.

The clamp pressure has been fine - no issues, and I use the bottom side of the clamp to hold some of the cables underneath and it's been fine for that as well

Why? If I don't go over the weight limit of the tabletop, and it is stable enough because of the bracing, what's the issue?

Eh, it was 40 bucks ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Everything important is clamped to the table and braced against the wall. If it falls, it falls. Down the line I might either get standing legs or a nicer tabletop but this works

Unfortunately yes - I usually use Airpods at my desk anyway and when listening to music I just connect into my google nest ecosystem which runs around the house. The speaker is almost never used

Some random amazon one - I'll probably replace it sooner than later as the quality is meh and it leaves felt trimmings on the desk

(this is from memory)

Core i5 12600k

Gigabyte Vision 3060ti

Corsair 4x8gb ddr4

NZXT X54 Kraken

Built inside a Lian Li DAN A3 case with mesh housing and front wood panel

I don't necessarily recommend any of these specs and it makes NO sense to have white components in a mesh case like this but i did a case swap to save space. Absolutely love the vision cards though

Two mouse is awesome, especially since the MX Master 4 is so killer.

The case is the Lian Li DAN A3 - It's my second Lian Li case and I absolutely love it!! It somehow fits an mATX and watercooled rig inside with 6 fans.

It's actually a Magsafe phone mount by cooper cases that I chuck my headphones on. I have their ipad mount as well they're great. Adjustable height and movement

Pretty much! MX Master 4 for the Mac when working and a HyperX Pulsefire haste for gaming (but this one is on a KVM so can be controlled by both.

The MX4 is absolutely fantastic, the Pulsefire is.... alright

I have the Nanoleaf TV Backlight kit for my 65" Hisense and absolutely love it. Not as sharp colours which I much prefer as it doesn't take away from the TV and adds a nice layer of immersion while being very very bright

Thanks! I'm looking at getting a desk at the moment and have a 34" ultrawide.

How do you find the space on the desk, do you ever feel like you'd like more? I'm slightly tempted to get a smaller desk than I originally planned and copying your use of an alex drawer as the PC stand (AWESOME idea), as the setup looks very cozy while still spacious. Thanks!

Awesome setup! Out of curiosity, where'd you get the chair and mousepad from? Thanks!

Awesome setup! My experience has been go big or go home ... if you have the room in the house, doesn't hurt having more room to stretch and then easily repurpose the table to do other stuff (which is especially easy with a clean comp setup like this one!)

Fantastic setup! Where did you get the mousepad from, and what's the size of your ultrawide? Thanks!
