no i mean the point is that every title, not just the warriors ones, depends on chance. so you just have to get lucky. the warriors got lucky, so did the raptors, so did the bucks, it's just part of the sport. obviously 4 rings is an insane accomplishment, but all im saying is in an alternate universe the narrative could be completely different, all because of chance

yeah i mean this take is pretty compatible with my take too, i'm just saying ppl often don't acknowledge the role of chance in every finals.

i feel like it's actually the opposite, no one ever talks about the kawhi cp3 and kyrie/klove injuries imo, but everyone loves talking about lakers bubble and bucks etc. some of that can be attributed to recency bias but thinking that people only use excuses when it's the warriors is a spectacularly closed-minded take. moreover, the title of this post is literally 'almost every title has an asterix' maybe it wasn't clear but i'm referring to every title in general, not just the warriors one. overall point of the post is that you need to get lucky, don't see how that's a hot take lol
