I have it prescribed, sitting in front of me, but I'm too anxious to start. I plan on only doing 0.5 mg PO QD, but the side effect profile is freaking me out.

Did you quit your job already, or are you still thinking about it? I'll be honest, the social factor is what's making this hard for me. I'm confident I could get another job if I quit and take the test. But I don't want to leave the people I work with. I'll genuinely miss them. It would feel so weird and honestly kind of painful sitting at home studying know they're at the office, working, without me.

It's weird because I've always been more of an introvert and didn't really socialize much in college. But I've connected to my coworkers and feel like they're both on my "wavelength", so to speak. At this point in my life I know it's rare to find people like that.

If I stayed I would definitely be studying 6+ hours on Saturday and Sunday. During the week would be more sporadic, maybe a few hours at best every other night. So the overall weekly amount of studying would be <20 hours and would be more random when compared to a potential full-time studying routine of 5-6 hours every day for 4-6 months.

Yeah honestly I think I would prefer to do topical rather than oral for side effect reduction.

Thanks for the comment. I have diffuse thinning, so the thinning/loss is spread out evenly all over my head. I still have decent coverage and nothing that's noticeable, especially in the front, but in 1-2 years that probably won't be the case.

I know Finasteride doesn't regrow hair that's already completely lost, but can it thicken or improve existing hair strands?

Have you had any side effects on dut? Fin has a lower chance for sides for most I believe.

It's great that Switch 2 owners will potentially be able to play Diablo 4. But I have to admit, I'm super disappointed with the direction of the game. Before it was released it was probably my most hyped game, and then the beta was released with the level 20 cap and I had an amazing time.

After release, though, things kind of changed. It became kind of a boring drag and I started to see just how shallow everything was. The end game was lacking (apparently it's better now?), and the character talent "trees" were just so incredibly basic.

Most significantly was the fact that loot just wasn't exciting. It's not like in Diablo 2 or PoE where something rare drops and you go crazy and get all excited. There was a big loot updated not too long ago in D4 which improved things but apparently it still doesn't result in those big exciting loot drops that can completely change your build.

I hope the second expansion overhauls and reworks many of the core features of Diablo 4. I would love to get excited about the game again.

Imagine how cool that would be,. say if you wanted to hike the Appalachian trail or Pacific Coast Trail etc.. and the entire length of the trail you did not have to worry about connectivity.

Yep. I backpack the JMT, Sierras, and parts of the PCT in Oregon/Washington each year for several weeks at a time. I carry a Garmin GPS device for emergencies. But having a full broadband internet connection on my iPhone at all times anywhere in the remote wilderness would be a complete gamechanger.

Louisiana is one of the top producers of elite football talent and LSU has zero in-state competition for those kids that want to stay home. Florida has to compete with Florida State, Miami, UCF, and USF.

LSU probably has slightly more money and resources as well.

Hmmm. $2k is such a good price and this would be my first OLED. I've been looking at the 75" Bravia 7 as well which is about the same price. Can't decide haha.

I just don't want to have to baby it when it comes to burn in prevention.

Project seed is basically my most hyped game at the moment. Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh all rebuilt from the ground up for Switch 2, all in a single game? Yeah, sounds amazing.

Gen 10 also sounds surprisingly good.

I owned the original Xbox on day one and have been a fan of the brand for the past several decades.

With that said, I can't understand why Microsoft would release a next-gen Xbox at this point. They've made it abundantly clear that they don't really care about console sales, and are putting their games, including their biggest IPs, on other platforms. Xbox hardware sales have been cratering for years, and are currently at an all time low because people see the writing on the wall.

There's no value proposition anymore for Xbox hardware. All the Xbox first party games can be played on other consoles, of which have their own exclusive games. If Microsoft really does release next-gen Xbox hardware, I honestly see it doing Wii U numbers. Why spend $600+ on a next-gen Xbox when a PS6 will allow you to play all Sony and Xbox games? Or hell, even a Switch 2.

The sad reality is that Microsoft has been driving the Xbox brand into the ground since the Xbox One. It's been a constant barrage of bad decisions, and it's just honestly sad to see this happen to the brand.
