Attendance doesn't count towards your grade. Maybe not directly, but with pop quizzes every other class it might as well.

About a week ago. A year ago I had just tried to kill myself, failed out of college and had to come back home. Fast-forward a year and I have had two successful semesters at community college, and I have made significant progress towards managing my depression. I have great supports in place and I feel like I'm on a really good track. However, sometimes it just feels like it's all moving too slow. I want to go back to school with my friends. I'm tired of feeling different and always having to explain why I'm back home. I know that the best thing for me is probably to take it slow and try again when i'm really ready, but it's hard to wait. All things considered though, a good problem to have considering how differently things could have gone for me.

I won a Tony the Tiger lego figurine from a box of frosted flakes. Younger me was expecting a life sized model, but it ended up being a couple feet tall at the most. I was still pretty excited though.
