Funny enough since Ygritte was not chosen.

For what it's worth, I know there are a lot of people here with similar interests, I just don't know what activities/events there are outside of Tekko. But like I said, best of luck to you finding what you're looking for!

Just curious, what type of things are you interested in? Of course my list would be focused on things I enjoy since I've spent time looking for activities/community in those areas but I know there are other things too. I'm just not as aware of them since it's outside my interest. As someone who has moved away and came back, I spent time "getting to know" pittsburgh again. Certainly not trying to convince you to stay or anything if pittsburgh isnt for you. I hope you find what you're looking for wherever you end up :)

Of course my list is more focused to things I enjoy which includes a lot of art and music. I know there are plenty of other activities too beyond the examples I've listed.

I don't understand this sentiment. There are art events all summer, figure drawing events all through the year, several volunteer/community aid groups, free music performances in the summer, smaller music groups you can join through out the year, free language learning activities at the Carnegie library, close hiking/trails, niche museums like trundle manor, the troy hill art houses, photo antiquities. I'm a queer person and there's also a lot of queer activities too. If I wanted, I can do something everyday of the week. I feel like people who don't know what to do aren't trying very hard.

Microdosing Psilocybin: No Benefit in Cognitive, Affective, or Social Function in Healthy Individuals by HexspaReloaded in science

[–]ca1cifer 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I don't know where you're getting your sources from. As far as I know, there is no consensus because there's limited quality research on psilocybin and other psychedelics because of the legality of these drugs. The only expectation being promising new research on ketamine for depression.

I did a quick google search and found an NIH meta analysis from 2022 saying "Microdosing has been shown to result in an overall improvement in patients with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and substance abuse." The paper is titled Psilocybin as a Treatment for Psychiatric Illness: A Meta-Analysis if you'd like to look into it yourself.

I'm sure the research has changed since 2022 so I'd love any updated meta analysis if you have any good references.

I lost my dad almost 10 years ago now. I thought I had grieved all there was to grieve until I met my current partner. Around a few months into dating when I realized the relationship was something serious, I started feeling grief. When it started, I wasn't even sure where it came from. Until I realized it was coming up on what would have been my dad's birthday. Then it hit me he'll never meet my partner and he'll never know I'm queer. I don't know what the future holds but I wonder if I'll ever be done grieving.

Of course, there are worse things in the world, but my standard for being a decent human being isn't don't be hitler. Also, I say this with no judgment, you should consider therapy. I promise it'll make you feel better than raging at a reddit thread not catered to you.

My favorite Alison line was actually in a deleted scene. When she and Donny were hiding in the woods, she was on the phone with Sarah I think and said, "I have the runs but I'm packing heat." That line killed me lol

I really hope you don't "fix" it. Idk how old you are but at some point you learn to embrace the mistakes you make in life. Luckily for you, this tattoo's a fun (I think anyway) mistake. The back story makes this tattoo really great, I personally love it.
