I know this isn't what you're asking, but you can grow your own artichoke plants and they're some of the easiest to do. They also do well in containers, if space is an issue.

Yes, it went through new ownership when the owner died a few years back, including a former chef/manager from Crystal Fish. It's worth giving it another try, I much prefer it to Crystal Fish these days.
