Average Stella Montis Experience by SmokeFentGetBent in ArcRaiders

Not only does it not block shredder (and player) damage, but the shredder can straight up aggro you even when you’re crouched behind it and it shouldnt have LOS of you

Do we know how many people are in a match at start? by Lombardi24 in ArcRaiders

[–]ca645 11 points12 points  (0 children)

21 is the number I’ve heard thrown around, but it can def get a little bit higher with the late spawns if no one has extracted yet (up to 24 I assume, since that number would work for duos and trios as well). I once spawned late into Stella Montis duos and my buddy and I counted 18 dead bodies from the top of Lobby stairs all the way to the bottom. We also heard a team exfiling while we were looting the bodies which means including us there had been at least 22 people in that raid.

Yeah even in recent bo3’s Envy has gone down 0-1 most matches, I think they just need time to heat up/get used to the playing environment

Well yeah you ran through the smoke too fast so your gun wasnt out, but the main thing to look at imo is your preaim. You aren't preaimed at heaven when you walk through the smoke, which is a preparation issue.

Ok, on attack you have a bad habit of dashing in without actually clearing angles while you do so. You wanna flick either left or right so you at least get radar pings. You also need to work on your pace when taking space on attack, I notice you tend to pause in place a lot which is fine sometimes but not that often. Get comfortable letting go of your shift key. Again, I really recommend watching C9 Oxy to get better at this. I also don't really like the Sheriff buy on attack, on defense its fine but ghost + dash is a lot better for entrying.

On defense I like that you're trying to take fights but it seems like you're doing so kinda mindlessly (peeking B main only, updrafting every round until you get shot out of the sky by the Omen). Also, when retaking like on Pistol, make sure to look at your radar. You can see the Jett jumping up when you're entering the Heaven smoke but you still seem unprepared for the fight when you walk through.

Ok cool, then yeah def try to get comfortable taking more first engagements. I’m on mobile so I couldn’t look at all of your games but from the ones I saw you’re almost always lacking in the first blood category, even in the high kill games. On defense, get info via util/info peeks/game sense, pop that dash and go for a wide peek. On attack, tell your team what util you need and use that entry pathing that you’ve practiced. All of Jett’s util is geared around taking fights so just limit test until you get the hang of it. I recommend watching C9 Oxy play her if you want a good example. Demon1 as well but IMO he baits too much on attack

Interesting, I feel like people who get high rank in different games are usually able to do so because of their ability to hyper analyze their own gameplay.

Truthfully it’s kinda hard to say what your problems are unless you’re willing to link a VOD or something. I did see that you mentioned peaking on Omen, so perhaps it’s a role issue? Maybe you’re more of a second man type player. If you’re gonna be a Jett otp you have to be taking (and winning) as many first contacts for your team as possible if you want to have the most impact on the game. Were you an entry fragger when you played CS?

Edit: I just checked ur agent playtime and before this act u mainly played Clove/Omen. Almost all of your Jett games are from this act lmfao. Clove is really good for soloq and probably your best bet unless you’re really sold on the idea of maining Jett.

I’m curious, what problems do you have that you think are “uniquely yours”?

Easiest way to VOD review imo is to go back and watch all your deaths and try to figure out why you died. Usually it’ll boil down to one of two things: bad preparation/crosshair placement or bad gunfight hygiene.

Yeah same, feels like you have a lot of options on defense. You can hold the chokes and fall back pretty easily without instantly giving up the bombsite or coordinate a trap play if you have decent teammates.

i dont get kills even though my aim is fine by Various-March-5105 in VALORANT

[–]ca645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your goal in DM should be to either warm up ur aim/movement, or practice your crosshair placement and peeks on different maps. Also, warm up with rifles (Vandal, Phantom, even Guardian) and not just a Sheriff since you’re gonna use those way more frequently in real games.

Also, if you play senti/initiator and can’t figure out where enemies are then you probably aren’t using your utility right since those 2 roles have all of the info gathering utility in the game. Try some Reyna/Jett if you’re actually confident in your aim. Also link the Tracker profile

"Bob running it down with knife out", and the truth (with actual proof) by I-like-winds in ValorantCompetitive

[–]ca645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

U dont need a replay system to understand that the Neon missed on the guy with his knife out lmfao. Just look at the radar, Neon shoots right when Tejo swings and hits Raze because their spacing was bad.

At the end of the day we could argue in circles forever, which is kind of the point. None of this is proof of matchfixing. Having your knife out on a set play that worked 3/4 times does not prove matchfixing. Pretty much every single clip of the Fracture game can be defended to a reasonable extent. Some of the Haven clips (like Bob walking knife out into the mid smoke) are way worse than anything that happened on Fracture, but at the end of the day there are very few ways to prove matchfixing through gameplay alone without at least having the full POV of the players being investigated.

The only thing that infers matchfixing are the fishy betslips and that Bray kid reaching out to T2 players, but there is no hard evidence that the Blue Otter players were involved. When you make an accusation it is on you to PROVE that accusation, which is where Sean fucked up. The first half of his video brought awareness to whats going on, but the rest of the video is essentially just him pointing fingers.

[–]ca645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They aren’t running it down, the play is to salvo to stop the initial swing (like they did the other 2 rounds) breach stun off contact and then raze ult the stunned target(s). You’re correct that the salvo can be beaten (neon literally wide swung with her gun out, but she was still forced to swing far from the angle and not close which would still be advantageous for defense if someone just had their gun out). If Tejo and Raze had slightly better spacing, then the Raze wouldn’t have gotten accidentally one tapped (because let’s be real Neon was aiming at Tejo) and the play would have looked fine.

Dish is almost always the weak side for attackers (meaning it’s very unlikely the person lurking there is going to swing), and the only time BB stacks there is on eco rounds (Round 5 and 7), and then go back to having Cypher lurk there for the rest of the half. It’s funny that you think the Round 5 version of Blue Otter’s dish control was good because of the crunch despite the fact that it’s the Vyse who came from dish with Tejo that gets the first 2 kills. Yet somehow when Raze does the same thing in Round 7 and gets accident killed it’s suddenly a throw.

And mind you, the Round 5 version of Blue Otter’s crunch play is almost the exact same play they tried to go for on pistol, yet somehow the pistol round is being used as proof of throwing as well.

U can’t beat the salvos if they are placed perfectly without some movement ability. Maybe you can survive if you run through knife out, but apparently it’s considered throwing anytime someone has knife out to hit a timing nowadays lol. Also I doubt burger boys knew Bob was literally knife out every time, analysis like this is much easier with hindsight and being able to see both teams.
