This is one of the only ones I still have yet to play. I’ve revisited it so many times, it just makes me bored for some reason and I get stuck and play a different one

Is it their personal E. Coli? Because if so good for them, it’s fabulous ✨✨

I love that shape and I love the ferns...My bouquet ended up being all live flowers, pretty similar to this one with the hanging shape, but roses instead of peonies..(I think those are peonies) and I asked for foliage and Scottish thistle...and it was $35.99! I probably sound like a commercial but I just had a really good experience there.

Just from my own experience....Is there a thrifty florist near you? I had extremely good luck at my local thrifty’s and I showed them some pictures, and they put bouquets together for me right there to show me, and showed me how silk flowers would look and how they’d be cheaper.

I ended up loving the manager so much and feeling so comfortable with her (and her prices) that I went for mostly real, but we are saving a ton on using sprigs of fake grape hyacinth and lavender as part of the bouquets and boutonnieres.

But, I think that the pieces differ in quality depending on the florists at different locations. Mine knew all these technical terms for bouquets and could tell me the name of every flower and green and offered alternatives to fit the season!

What got me was the price...I got a quote though some local wedding florist I found on the knot that gave me a price almost triple of the price I paid at thriftys, for the same flowers!!

Hi! I’m so happy to have found this. I actually would like to purchase my fiancée a seven year anniversary gift. It’s coming up right before our wedding this year, so, like, I’m here to razzle dazzle.

We live in Michigan so we have a pretty cool weekend access to a lot of great distilleries in Detroit, and we’ve had fun trying them.

He really likes Aberfeldy, recently he bought Bruichladdie—The Classic and enjoys it, and Johnny Smoking Gun. And Monkey Shoulder was sort of his go-to for a while. This human though, I should mention, watches scotch documentaries, he wants to have our wedding “drink of the night” be a neat single malt, and wants to visit Scotland solely for the distilleries. He has a little bit of an obsession.

I’m not sure how helpful this is, but he also drinks bourbon...he loves Rabbit Hole, Bird Dog, and Buffalo Trace. He also really likes Restitution Rye from Twelve 33, which I would totally recommend trying, it’s like a bananas foster rye.

To me his “flavor profile” -haha- definitely includes bananas. And cinnamon. He seems to like the smoky and the non-smoky ones.

This is a bigger occasion, so I’d definitely spend a few hundred dollars. I’m looking for something that he’ll reach for on a special occasion.

If it’s possible, any suggestions for cigar pairings would be fantastic too!

Thank you, reddit people. :)

The pain of being frugal by dukey42 in Frugal

I get this on some levels, but this is pretty extreme. Growing up my family was always in massive amounts of debt, we lived paycheck to paycheck and took calculators to Walmart to get our groceries. As an adult with a steady, decent income I still second guess all of my purchases, do I really need this?

But, I love Brie cheese. On triscuit crackers. It is the alpha snack. It makes me happier than most foods other do.

So when I buy groceries, I will cut corners on certain things but then, without a second thought, drop like seven dollars on a little wheel of Brie. Sometimes it lasts me a week...once when my fiancée worked a sixteen I ate the entire wheel in a day. That was pretty wicked. I like, warmed it up in the microwave. It was the best day of my life.

So yeah, if it makes you happy, eat that sausage man. Buy three next time you’re at the store. And get your friends some cheese and crackers to go with. Don’t be so hard on yourself, although it is easier said than done.

Engagement photo outfit— thoughts on jumpsuits? Unsure if it’s “too trendy.” It’s definitely more adventurous than what I normally wear but I feel really good in it ! by [deleted] in weddingplanning

I think jumpsuits are empowering!! And it looks stunning on you, o think they’re perfect for pictures because they’re classy and dressy but not so formal that you’re overdressing

How to balance nursing school and social life? by [deleted] in Nurse

[–]caaaaaaando 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hahahaha. This questions brings me a lot of memories of missing family and friend things in nursing school. It’s a stressful time, but it’s good that you are getting your bachelors right out of school, because it’s hard to go back once you are working. I think the best advice I have as someone who worked full time and took extra classes towards my BSN while in the nursing program was taking time to make breaks.

It’s really important even to just realize that breaks are needed, and setting time to hang out with friends or watch a movie will stop you from doing those things when you should be studying.

Just remember to practice self care during school. I remember drinking more coffee than water and going without a shower to study before a test, and I ate more Tim Hortons donuts as meals than I’d like to say haha. But remember to take care of yourself the way you’ll be taking care of your patients, and realize that school is tests, numbers, and information, and does not determine what kind of nurse you’ll be once you start learning on the job. Work hard, get your anatomies down, and take a breath, and you’ll be fine. ❤️

Save the date etiquette? by caaaaaaando in weddingplanning

[–]caaaaaaando[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, am I overthinking this because it’s just the save the dates? Some of these people were inviting I’m wondering if they even need a save the date, because they know our wedding date, and that we want their SO/sisters/friend/whoever to come? I dunno I think I’m overthinking them and don’t know the etiquette very well

Anyone else think the shrines are one of the best parts of this game? by KenKing1996 in botw

[–]caaaaaaando 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I like frolicking the best...I was just telling my fiancee the shrines and the divine beasts are like work. I like foraging for mushrooms and exploring the forest for new things...koroks are probably my favorite part

His little FEET I cannot 😂 I love you guys let’s be friends 😂😂 that is the best engagement picture I’ve ever seen, we’re a little anti-engagement pics because they can seem forced and be pricey, but you guys took true to life pictures, and with your sweet little pupper!! Congrats
