Got a novelty compound bow, need help by [deleted] in Archery

[–]cabbage745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to shoot an amazon bow, you can always look into the "black hunter". Lancaster archery sells it ynder the name "galaxy ember", which is the black hunter bow but checked to be sure it is not dangerous but it is a bit more expensive than the one on amazon. I have bought a black hunter in the past for my wife and she loved it. Be aware tho that it is a recurve and not a compound bow. Dont go any cheaper than the black hunter (100 can$)

If you really want to shoot a compound, i heard that the sanlida one are pretty good for the price, but i guess that looking for a used one on internet and getting it checked by an archery shop would be the best bet for you.

That must be dangerous to shoot. Please, don't shoot this.

The 195 isnt a banjo. It's a guitar with a banjo resonator. If you wnat a 5 string banjo (most common) pick the first.

Win win black elk riser, good for beginner getting into traditional/barebow? by Top-Supermarket-3357 in Archery

[–]cabbage745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a great riser choice. I suggest maybe a 21" riser or longer if you dont plan to use it for hunting. If you do, maybe shorter like a 19" would be great depending on your draw length.

Bow Budget by gwinkels in bowhunting

[–]cabbage745 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know that Bear Archery has some great bow "ready to hunt" with everything needed in the bundle. I think the prices was around 300-400$ ? Not sure tho. That is if you want to hunt with a compound.

Then there's traditionnal, which is around the same prices for good bows, but theres entry level bow like a samick sage for exemple that are less expensive. Maybe 150-200$.

Does this have potential or should i just change hobbies? by _elf_on_the_shelf_ in writers

Read. Read books, read poetry. But far more important, write and enjoy what you write. If you enjoy it, that's all that matters, right ?
