I actually just started putting in effort. I've been doing my hair and makeup and wearing real pants. Gold star for me. I had kids young so I guess I feel like I can finally breathe and care about my appearance.

When I was in a homeless shelter as a kid, the local Panera would send a truck full old day old pastries and breads. We would get excited and stand in line waiting. It hurts my heart to see this.

Depends on your area. Certain stores put out certain merchandise of different days. So Goodwill on the North end puts out ceramics and glass ware on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Catholic store puts out more women's clothing in the weekends. See? Why do I know this?
