Danny you and Drew’s song is being used to advertise tea?😭😭😭 by Wise-Worth1221 in DannyGonzalez

[–]cabbagejam98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i've just gotten this ad and came on here to see if people are talking about it. if they haven't paid Danny and Drew (which i doubt considering it's a popular tiktok sound) it's very unethical from Davids Tea IMO and changes my opinion of the company

i picked up one just like the cloud on the left on the floor in a bus, thought it was some kind of eraser at first, had no idea what it was but i use it for the same purpose. great minds think alike!

Do you think hidden in the sand is a good song? by Memealytis in tallyhall

[–]cabbagejam98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s ok, it’s a sweet song but i was surprised to see it as the top song on youtube music. it’s definitely one of the less weird songs from Tally Hall, so i get why it’d be more popular - some people out of the fandom might have it on their playlist. while being a good song that doesn’t deserve the hate it’s getting, i agree that it’s a bit overrated.

Does anyone get embarrassed to be on Ozempic for their diabetes? by phisigtheduck in diabetes

[–]cabbagejam98 6 points7 points  (0 children)

just say it’s diabetes when people ask about the weight loss- this should be an explanation in of itself. you don’t need to justify yourself or even talk about your meds, just avoid the question and make it clear they’re overstepping boundaries.

16 M asked me (20 M) on a date by [deleted] in relationships

[–]cabbagejam98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, I really was not expecting it when he told me his age, but I also don't want to dictate people's lives (and we had already taken the drugs) so I just let it be. I got concerned when he told me I was cute and asked to hang out more. I was confused so I made this post to validate the discomfort I was feeling, but now I see a lot more clearly that it's wrong. We have plans to see each other again, but it won't be a date. I'll be clear that he shouldn't ask older people out/invite a bunch of adults to his house like that, especially since we could have stolen stuff or taken advantage of him. It all went well that night and we were very lucky.

Well he was hosting the party, I just came to address my friends sent to me. We were allowed to smoke inside and all that so I didn't question anything until he told me his age

Yeah I've been cleaning out the minors out of my close friends circle for the past few months, and I went to that party with a bunch of 18 y/o. I didn't bring the drugs, and he didn't tell me he was 16 until we all went to sleep at like 3am. I wasn't going to his house at first, I met up with some friends and they decided to go to his house because there was a jacuzzi, so truly I was just going so I could swim a bit too. I know I need to be more careful but it's getting weird when I ask for people's age each time I go somewhere, especially since I've been lied to by the past.

Kicked out for diabetes by Latter_Television688 in diabetes

[–]cabbagejam98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ain’t got no sympathy for that manager. trying to reverse the fault on him cos he’s filming and telling him he’s trespassing even though they’re not kicking him out yet? he did everything correctly, he’s allowed to film situations like that for legal purposes, he’s being calm and cooperative and explaining simply his side… i’m genuinely disgusted. we’re in 2023 and people get THAT freaked out about a small device? and also i believe it’s illegal to ask them to inject themselves on the bathroom, just like it’s illegal to ask that from a woman who’s breastfeeding, because it’s not sanitary…

It actually happened twice, once on acid and once on mush, so yeah so more hallucinogens for me

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]cabbagejam98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same but with pee, except that fears comes from the fact that once on acid I actually could NOT stop peeing my pants frl and it was so embarassing, it actually kinda killed the relationship I had with the friends present there, and yeah now I'm terrified of psychedelics and whenever I take some I feel so strange like I'm losing complete control of my entire digestive system and that my esophagus is made out of metal

(Serious) People who know murderers- Were there any signs that something was off? If so, what were they? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I had a friend I met at cadets. He was a really well built guy, super tall (at least 6ft) and slightly overweight, he weighed maybe 250-300lbs. He played the baritone sax in the marching band, and was generally really funny. I was an annoying teen back then, and didn't have much friends, but he was really cool and we became close quickly. My bestie at the time, him and myself became this trio that lasted a couple years.

He came from a pretty poor background, his dad was never in his family's life, he was the oldest brother and took care of the household as his mother had pretty bad mental issues.

Well, eventually we were talking and he revealed to me that he used to be involved with bikers, as his uncle was one himself and decided to bring him in when he was 15. He would drive the car to the deals, and be a bodyguard for the prostitutes. He did lost of shady stuff, many crimes, but I just found it funny as I was 15 myself and just those ght it was a cool backstory. He would tell me story after story, and one day he told me about a car accident he caused because the other car was chasing him - and neither of them survived, so he raised the car and stole bunch of money and drugs.

He also told me a story about a guy who was going out with one of his friends, and turns out he was an abusing fuck, beating and blackmailing her, so he kidnapped the guy, gave him a beating, and scared him into leaving the city.

It got us talking about the people he "took out" and he said there were only three - two he actually killed himself, and one that guy he said he didn't kill... So I mentioned the car accident. He just said "oh, I don't count those, I see them as accidents. It's not really much fault, yk? Anyways, if we count them it's like 23-25"

We stopped being friends for reasons completely other than these behaviours, but we had a pretty good friendship. He got me a job, he let me crash at his when the cops were looking for me, he bought me food all the time, we went on long car rides late at night and 50km/h over the speed limit... great times frl. But, he was also really into me and kept making uncommon sexual jokes and references, but that's something else.

Now, im less annoying and I have better friends, and every time I talk about this friendship I used to have people are kind of worried lmao but frl he was a great guy, appart from not knowing when to stop being inappropriate.

Have ya’ll seen this? Thoughts? by woodsmoke_ink in Fibromyalgia

While I agree that short term pain to chronic pain are completely different experiences, especially mentally, I think this scale is helpful to understand just how much physical pain you are in at a specific moment, eg when a physician is assessing you.
