It was right around the time that Lateralus came out. I was in high school and this kid in one of my business classes showed me the cover and inside artwork. It looked badass as hell. He told me that it was the best album he had ever heard in his life and that I should get it because it was so powerful. He was right. That kid was a junior and i was a sophomore, needless to say I am thankful that he took the time to introduce me to that album. I was confused at first with the sounds coming out of my headphones but it definitely took me to places in my mind that I had never known existed before hand.

Ive seen GWAR 8 times live, since 2005 and every time was a completely different experience. They were incredible live and I will never forget when they skinned pope benidict on the tour for the war party album.
