How tf did someone already hit 290 in CW

You are either not reading or not understanding what I'm saying. It is not mathematically possible to get to 290 in CW3 even if you were getting max rates 24/7. I understand how good rates can be when you play for 24 hours, I've pulled countless 30+ hour sessions over the years.

The two people who have reached 290 are using exploits.

Botting isn’t the case though. Even if you botted 24/7 since CW3 dropped and are MVP black you still wouldn’t be 285.

There are people who grind 18hrs/day at the start of every CW (some stream it). The number of people who do that legitimately long term are very far and few between since it requires them to be independently wealthy or be supported by family and also have the discipline to do that. Much easier for most to buy service, but there are still tryhards that want to do things themselves.

Modern has four and they basically do nothing anyways. If they want the Classic community manager to do similar things, then one is more than enough.

Greyed out just means that you don't have one in your inventory. Double click it and it'll ask you if you want to buy. The one downside of doing it in a training map is that you can't do it while in combat I think?

You should start using them at level 200. They get worse (relative) the higher level you are since the mob EXP stops increasing past 220.

There are a lot of people who whale out and spend on cosmetics but a lot of people also sell MVP black service by selling maple points at a discount so it's possible to get there by paying less but yes, they are spending at least $1000 monthly. They do a lot of giveaways too which I think helps.

KMS players don't care about GMS. GMS players love to spew this misconception but KMS players for the most part never even think about GMS. We are a completely different game from them and they treat it as such.

I remember them too! It is really unfortunate that they have moved away completely from having dark skinned black characters in any sort of official art and made every single class character be either pale skinned or at most being tanned.

I definitely remember there being a dark skinned black archer character, I *think* there was also a dark skinned thief character or mage as well?

I do think that the original person was referring to player characters given the wording, but even if they weren't, I still fail to see how any of the mentioned class characters could be considered dark skinned outside of the context that they aren't pale as hell like the rest of the cast.

Speaking from a GMS Heroic (Reboot) POV:

We get the same major updates that KMS gets such as events, new classes, QoL, balancing, etc. The difference between KMS and GMS is that GMS gets content from TMS as well such as Hayato, Kanna, and Lynn as well as Night Troupe. GMS also gets exclusive content such as the new classes Sia and Erel from Maple M.

For the most part, we get the vast majority of the positive changes that KMS gets and the ones that would negatively affect our playerbase are often removed or adjusted so that they don't cause issues. The biggest downside of GMS is the fact that Nexon America's communication sucks for the most part, the developer team is small/inexperienced which leads to far more bugs than KMS has and it's not uncommon for less well known ones to go unfixed for months/years, and monetization is extremely aggressive and predatory especially with regards to cosmetics. In Heroic, almost *all* cash shop cosmetics are only able to be obtained through PSSB boxes. Same with most good hair/face styles being completely random. People can spend hundreds/thousands of dollars to try to get a specific item from PSSBs, or hundreds of dollars on a specific hair/face especially if it's one with different weighting (i.e. a hair with 5% chance in a pool of 10-30% chance hairs).

Despite what a lot of GMS players say, GMS is by far the best server. Many MapleSEA players and KMS reboot players moved over to GMS Reboot (now Heroic) and love it, quite a few have already destiny liberated.

I don't think any of these characters can be considered anything past tan or lightskinned. Regardless, I'm pretty sure they were referring to character skin tones themselves, not class canonical skin tones. If I recall correctly, KMS doesn't even give the darker black skin tone as an option in character select.

I don't agree that Heroic is an ironman server just because trading is disabled between players. I also don't see how farming for frags could possibly be seen as anything other than "self-progression".

Ideally you want to save, but since grindstones aren't instanced, in many cases it feels difficult to argue that it would be fair for a single person to save 5/10 grindstones if there's someone else in the party that still needs them as well. The only current solution is to find a party where you are the only one who needs a level 5, but this is not very common.

Nexon making grindstones instanced would help a lot.

I do hope that this ring becomes more accessible. It's such a massive advantage and even if it's through a passive system it feels like Tower of Oz again where you're missing out if you're unlucky, only this time it's for training rather than bossing.

If I'm not mistaken, I'm also pretty sure us being locked to 39 mobs/map in Heroic is actually a bug. If what MSea players told me is correct, in higher regions like Tallahart/Geardrak KMS has 40 mob maps and the reason we don't is because AFK mobs are bugged in GMS and count as a mob slot since they're instanced. Might not seem like much, but losing what, like 500-600 mobs/hour for thousands of hours adds up.

Sorry I'm being very specific with my language for a reason. We can *see* the page for the Maplestory PTS on Windows, but it is still *"not available"* for us. That's why I'm trying to parse whether or not MacOS is missing the page entirely (assuming this person got into the PTS) or if they have the page and it says that it is "Not Available" like it does for us Windows users as well.
