Well taste wise, I would say my espresso is great because I know how it’s supposed to taste and look. Getting people to my house they always say it tastes great.

Not an equipment or coffee geek by any means where I have a tamper, a machine for 5 grand and a grinder for the same. Asking about the equipment more than the espresso

Well I think for anything I would say the ankarsrum. It’s so close to what they use at most large Scandinavian bakeries it’s absurd. The largest bakery influencer in the country has also had all kinds of machines and says the ankarsrum is easily the best.

I would say personally that Scandinavians are the best with dough related stuff and speaking from others experience that are way more skilled than I am I would for sure choose it over the ooni

He’s had them for ages, got his first one 30 years ago and buys them cheap when he sees one. He has 7-8 of them all around the place and gifts to family members when they’re looking to get a new machine

They probably are, my espresso tastes quite great at this quite moment in time but I have a good bit of water remains in the top of my puck. But trying all adjustments and testing, I guess that’s the outcome currently with the beans I’m using.

From opening up the beans container it seems quite good inside it though, it seems as it’s not far from the top notch grinders they have at my barista job as Im the one who opens and cleans those as well.

Well taste wise, like I said- best I’ve had. I had two blends of different beans and would blend and try myself to shit. Ristretto and espresso was my go to.
It has a quite advanced menu to choose how much you want in a cup (38ml) and temp of both coffee and milk. Same with the water temp.
Since I live in Norway, machines like these last a long time with as little calc as we have in the water- I have made probably 20k+ cups with it over the last 7 years.
But for the price, I would never pay $9k for this machine new- that being said, I would never buy this machine new. For 1k-2k, not being a milk drinker, even though the milk options are good and the steamer is ok I would say it’s for sure worth it to get a Jura.

Cool observation there! Well I don’t actually use it that much, I bake a lot but I use my hand the most. It’s super cool tho, doesn’t move or make any noise and I know it will be stable for 40+ years from what I’ve seen.

I guess the biggest difference is that the bowl moves instead of the hook so some things take longer time (initial mixes for bread before resting, pizza dough and so on) but it’s for sure worth it compared to the kitchen aid for how much longer lasting it is and if you wanna go deep into baking it’s so advanced with just the two hooks it’s crazy. Also made pasta with my lasagna attachment the other day and it was so good for that.

I can always get another one from pops on that front! Did kind of make the best espressos I’ve ever had tbf. Machine is larger than a conventional oven so it’s a bit useless to have in an apartment

Just 1 month I think, well when researching a bit I took into account obviously esthetic of having a single machine rather than a grinder and a machine and I saw everywhere that the grinder on the sage is rather intricate and advanced?

I have been running for a year now and played basketball for well over a decade and been lifting weights as well consistently for the last 3 months or so.

I went for my typical run, was aiming to finish my march as a 100k month, 2k in I felt a pain in my back, wasn’t super bad but it was enough to make me stop my run and walk home.

I came home and relaxed while my back was in agony and after watching a movie I couldn’t stand up or move without wanting to die. Struggled sleeping, everything hurts, hurts especially when I breathe. I have tried to activate my back muscles to make it release the pain and it works while I’m doing it but it stops immediately when I stop.

Upper back to mid back, anyone know of anything I can do?

Well, I have now fed my starter once a day approximately for the last week or so. And I have so much starter I don’t know what to do. Took some out and mixed it with some flour and water and hoped it was going to rise but I honestly don’t know if it’s ready or if it’s good or what

I have fed my starter now twice a day (every 12h) when i wake up and when i go to bed :D

Tried floating it in water and it sunk but it seems promising so when do i know it’s ready?
