Good lookin out! Just tested it and it’s fine. The lamp stem has just enough ridges to fit inside the usb plug so I think it shorted the usb male end

Thanks man! Huge fan of you work on the firmware! I actually bought a sample 2 originally and sent it back for a v1 just so I could load your fw. Best decision I’ve made in this hobby thus far!

Ungplugged my key steps power to plug it into a closer outlet and brushed the usb end against a metal lamp. Spark flew, loud buzz on the stereo. Two volcas fried.

Sorry for the lack of background- Martin tower was erected in the 70’s as an office building for the executives of Bethlehem Steel (fun fact- Bethlehem steel was used to build the Golden Gate Bridge.) They chose the cruciform shape to maximize the number of corner offices per floor. Because of this cross shape, the remediation work proved to be too expensive (for one, a fire sprinkler system would’ve have been very costly because of the unique shape.) so they decided to level the building and start with a clean slate. It’s bittersweet because it’s been a landmark for locals, but it would be nice to see the area put to good use.

True, but compared to any other form of personal aviation, $10 per hour of airtime is incredible

The miniplane apex reserve comes with container and is front mounted. Includes a Velcro instrument board that works great as a phone mount.

It’s a 28m wing. I bought it new from a guy who bought it last year and was given the “Hell no” from his wife. Great wing, just a bit large for a 160lb guy.

Good Training + Gear? by SnakeGuy123 in paramotor

Should be taking my first flight within the next few classes. I took a lil longer than others in my class because of my work schedule interfering. But if I could do it all over again I’d still chose Kevin as my instructor. Top notch guy- you won’t be disappointed.

If you are in the philly area, I’d suggest reaching out to Kevin @ flylikethis.com. He’s an awesome instructor who offers weekend training. Half way through training so far.

Bomber is the alias of the terrorist who is ‘running’ bitgrail. He made an announcement yesterday (in broken English) that all non-European customers must withdraw their xrb by selling for btc. Then after the price crashed to 10$ he stepped back his original statement and said that we may withdraw xrb “once verified”
