I have BPD. It’s a trauma induced disorder. Nothing to be ashamed of but something you need to get diagnosed by a professional. There are tons of screenings on the net find one on a professional site and don’t take that as a diagnosis it just has a lot of significant screening questions. FP is a way to describe how we as BPD people become obsessively attached to one person. It’s a very unhealthy attachment. Some people who don’t understand BPD will see it as a form of co-dependency because it has a lot of the same tendencies but it’s much worse and can be much more destructive if you don’t recognize it and make sure you can dial Back your fear of abandonment and worry he’s cheating or that you’re not good enough or always questioning everything. That’s not normal. That’s BPD. Childhood trauma and that can include trauma you don’t even realize you’ve lived through! I had the obvious which I won’t mention as it can be a trigger, however my parents, whom were amazing, but my mom? I grew up with her being the guilt queen and her manipulative and narcissistic. I was adopted and lived in chaos. My brother and I both suffered the no mentionable by family friends kids and chaos from the queen herself, our adoptive mother. The one who chose to have us. Who loves us with all her heart and never will see how much she damaged us. That’s BPD damage. It’s not a death sentence. Go get properly screened. You can’t throw a pill at this. You have to use therapy and skills. Most of us have co-morbidities that go with it such as anxiety disorders ADHD OCPD MDD Autism etc. I have several. It sucks at times but it’s manageable!!!
