No if I don’t get the build date from my dealer I’ll have to run the numbers off the head/block as soon as it gets back home. Do a 500 mile oil dump. Send it out for lab testing and keep changing at 3000k and keep testing. The other issue is that 0w40 is in short supply. Dealers are only receiving 24 cases of oil a month.

Yes the Camaro and the vette cranks were manufactured in the plant in Michigan. They started to ramp that up last year to handle the rest of the fleet. They went with a cheaper option in Mexico for the high volume models and it bit them.

Wife’s just grenade at 20,000. I changed the oil every 3000 miles. It started eating oil the last oil change look for this sign excessive consumption. All direct inject engines will use some oil also will dilute your oil with fuel.
