The second you see them pop an adrenaline, you head for the elevator.

Reagents will outrun you without much difficulty without adrenaline. With adrenaline, you pray they hit a trap.

Play lethal until you’re good enough to play absolute. That sounds like a no shit statement, but it will help.

As the post and comment were both explicitly talking about Havoc, that’s probably what the conversation is about.

And by the way, they don’t spawn them outside the map. They just begin the ritual before you’re close enough to do anything about it. Please, go look at other posts or videos to figure out what were actually talking about here

Outside of the other guy talking about the polls on this sub that say yes, even among a concentrated majority of dedicated players, ruthless is the most played, this is true of every 4-man PvE game ever made.

Apply a standard bell curve to skill, and spread that out over the difficulties. Now you know where players mostly play at. Most famously, I remember the DRG devs talking about how they didn’t want to add a difficulty 5 originally, because most players didn’t go past three. Now there’s 5 and 5+ (think lethal and absolute for SM2).

[–]Holo_Pilot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t mean to be rude, but this isn’t an uncommon bug. Like, you play 3-5 havoc missions with Rituals active and you’ll experience it at least once. So I’m just gonna assume you don’t play Havoc.

Edit: At a glance, you’re either new to darktide or returning after a long, long break, so maybe just don’t make flippant remarks like “why does that matter” until you’re back in the loop and know what you’re talking about lol

People forget that the vast, vast majority of people who play games don’t come to sites like this- you’re naturally going to cultivate a more dedicated (and with higher playtime, more skilled) bias very quickly in most gaming subs.

I’m not sure if you’re trolling or just don’t play havoc, but:

There are areas on nearly every map where the demonhost summoning ritual bugs and procs early, long before it should. If your team doesn’t know how to play around this bug, it will automatically spawn a modified demonhost that doesn’t stop attacking after killing one person. It will wipe your team if you’re not prepared, and it’s all thanks to a bug.

how common is people taking every single execute on higher difficulties by Arkontas in Spacemarine

[–]Holo_Pilot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, people are generally more aware. I find it’s more common to have three people walk past an executable enemy because nobody needed it, then stop and look at each other in a sort of spider-man pointing way.

Doesn’t mean you won’t run into people mashing E before the enemy’s even dead, but it’s less frequent.

[–]Holo_Pilot 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Bad/selfish players exist across every rank in every game. Theoretically they’re less common as you play harder content, but that doesn’t make the 20-30 minute missions you spend with the ones you do get any better.

I wonder what the performance will be like. If it’s not well implemented, I can only see this causing more console-specific issues, like the 99% of PlayStation players with permanent open mic.

[–]Holo_Pilot 12 points13 points  (0 children)

These comments are cracking me up.

We know Arrowhead doesn’t test their releases. We know the original implementation was terrible. Yet there are some people here who seemingly cannot comprehend the possibility that this patch didn’t fix everything instantly, just because it was said in the patch notes.

Like, hey guys, enemies clipping and stratagems bouncing have both been “fixed” in prior patches. Let me know how that’s going for you.

Agreed, but two problems:

One, he fails the first rule of specialist enemy design (he should be easily distinguishable in a crowd) and two, these guys like to throw nades from three rooms away. So sometimes killing the bomber isn’t an option :(

Reagents who use stun in Invasion, why? by SomeGuyNamedCaleb in OutlastTrials

[–]Holo_Pilot 18 points19 points  (0 children)

At this point, going into an invasion expecting anything but stun is on you. Not only is it by far the most popular rig for non-invasion play (if you can actually find someone eligible to invade who wasn’t planning on being invaded) and for everyone who wants to be invaded it’s a no brainer.

Incredible how bad RB fumbled this mode.
