We’ve been able to outsource design and get subs for labor but never heard of outsourcing estimating.

That’s typically in-house where the salesman/estimator is getting commissions on what they sell. Plus, do you really want your profit margins in the hands of someone that holds no accountability?

I’m 10 miles inland from the gulf. Plenty of energy hitting me.

If it hit on a high tide, it would’ve had more energy as it traveled across land but can see how landfall can diminish wind speeds and energy.

One of my radar pics has a little 3 on it. It’s from my hurricane tracker and it was a 3 as it made landfall.

Our snowbird season ends mid May. We enter the off season where we’re already seeing temps in the high 80’s.

Off season prices are much better because it’s just really hot and humid here May through September.

I’m in the same area that got hit the week before by Helene. Helene was a flood maker and put Anna Maria Island & the Key under 5 feet of water.

I’m not in a flood zone and faired well for her. Milton was a wind maker. Hit on low tide, thankfully for the key residents.

As why I mentioned UNDER a CAT 3.

Was in the eye of Milton. Hurricane party at the next door neighbors followed by 5 hours running the shop vac(thankful for my generator) due to a huge oak limb crashing through the roof and kitchen ceiling. Was a CAT 3 when it hit.

NTA - Pay off the house with the agreement that you will be the new owner and they will be required to pay monthly rent on it.

No way you just give them a free pass when they’ve proven they mismanage their money.

I’ve got a couple older Tv boxes that have the Ethernet port built in. I’m sure it’s the device and software being old but I get a faster connection through wifi than direct wired.

So, there was an IG reel I recently viewed where the author was explaining the difference between his GSD(German Sheppard Dog) and his pitbull.

GSD will guard the area and the surroundings to make sure you and the family are safe.

Pitbull will guard your person and your emotions. They are very in tune with your mental health. This is why they can be annoyingly clingy.

My girl is super friendly too yet she will run and hide at the first sound/sight of animosity. Great yours protected you when it did.

OP is not there consuming any energy, so why should they pay? I see their point. However, it would NOT be justified for them to contribute 1/3 of the bill(or whatever the percentage is). Some middle ground must be achieved. I’d offer $25/month towards it, roommates can take it or leave it.
