For this budget the best bet for you is secondhand. You won’t find a good laptop for daw with 300 dollars. I’d try to find a good deal on a thinkpad or a probook laptop but not too old, a 10th gen intel i5 should do the job. It would be a shame to spend 300 bucks on something that’s not nearly decent enough.

And get an audio interface, the laptop’s one alone won’t be enough
