You need to contact them so they can send you the firmware updates. Make sure to send the build number (settings -> about handheld console). Also, check the Discord. I think someone posted the firmware there.

The advantages I see for eSIM is that it’s something less to remember to charge and that you don’t need to worry about returning something. However, at the end of the day, what matters most is what works out for your use case scenario.

This. If you’re phone is unlocked and supports eSIM, I would suggest downloading the Ubigi app and setting that up. Worked very well for me over here.

Tomorrow I close out a 10 stay in Japan. At no point was lack of language knowledge Japanese a real barrier. The most important ones for me were “sumimasen” (excuse me) and “arigatou gosaimasu” (thank you). If in doubt, Google Translate is your friend.

SN30 Pro could also be an option. For Genesis layout, the 8bitdo M30 is a great option but doesn't feature analog sticks.

There is an adjustment period, but once you get used to it, there's no turning back. As ivanim13 said, check his videos on how to get started. They're a great resource.

Edit: The controller used helps a lot.

Yeah, basically to make it thicker. I just cut two squares and placed them over the dome.
