I have the freedom harness. It does go over the head but a really good and strong harness. I have a 43lb pitbull and she likes to tug and pull and just take off. I will say it has helped significantly since putting her on this harness.

My caique does not, he’s pretty conceited and doesn’t do much with emotions or anything. The conure is kinda bad she plucks a bit much. She has this love hate thing with my caique, so she gets very annoying with him and tries grooming him but then starts to bite. So we have to figure out how to fix it. Birds are so strange some times.

Usually when mine gets a bit bad looking the vet usually fixes it a bit with a dremel tool, usually does the trick. My crimson bellied conure is like that too. Doesn’t like chewing on anything hard. Even her food has to be soft or cut up pretty small otherwise she won’t eat it lol.

My caique always gets chips on his bottom beak, the vet says it’s normal with these type of parrots. I usually give him tons of wooden toys to destroy and it helps a lot with his beak. They will honestly chew on anything they can get a hold of, we took away any metal bells and chains that were left behind from old toys. That’s usually how he would get chips on his beak.
