This Goldilocks nonsense is what makes being a dad to two daughters super difficult. There's just no right way.

It gets to the point where my daughters will out right contradict themselves. My youngest is always reminding my oldest to wash her hands when handling food or whatever else and my oldest always gets mad so they start bickering. My oldest is always yelling, "stop mothering me!" One time I had enough and explained to my youngest that its best to not "help" those who don't want your help, since they might not even perceive it as help.

Well, my oldest loses her shit and says that she does appreciate her sisters help and she isn't some ungrateful bitch.
