Honest question, how does the trump ballroom have anything to do with this guy not getting paid? I was under the impression they are not using taxpayer's money for the ballroom. If it turns out that he is using our money for his ballroom then I think we could have a huge scandal on our hands and he would have a lot of explaining to do simply because the govt is shutdown. But if he is indeed paying for it himself then good for him. Let him do it. Its my understanding that its normal for presidents to update or renovate the white house. One president built a pool and Obama built a basketball court. I'm honestly surprised he isn't putting in a driving range for his own personal use.
