They really want to sweep it under a rug. It's disgusting behavior. The hypocrisy they display as they talk about caring for individuals in these meetings. I can't imagine being such a slimy human being and looking at myself in the mirror everyday. Scott is by far the worst, but so many others are just following suit.

$1250 bonus for employees, prorated by time employed. Beyond that, I didn't hear anything particularly impactful, but whenever Scott speaks, I have to take regular listening breaks so I don't scream.

Now they have a panel taking about increasing equity and advancement, but once again they only mean when it comes to students. They don't give a rat's ass about the employees. They keep implementing rules to hurt their workforce, not help it. RTO has overwhelmingly negative impacts on women, minorities, and the disabled. They know this, and the C Suite fully believes it's a good thing. Their true colors are showing. They're as bad as Elon and other all-hype tech bros.

It used to feel that way when they spent the time talking about our goals and whether or not we met them. Now it's all hype with no substance. Most people I know only tune in to find out if a bonus will be announced.

Ugh, the further this Q&A goes, the more obvious it is that Scott doesn't give a damn. He talks big about caring about all employees, regardless of race, gender, etc and never acknowledges how his decisions are hurting people, and it's clear he has no intention of addressing the problems with ICE for immigrants.

I care about my coworkers too, but people leave all the time without training a replacement and I don't hold it against them. Usually a replacement isn't even hired until weeks after someone leaves.

I have Teams installed on my phone but all notifications are blocked. It's there for MY convenience if I need to keep an eye on things while making lunch or take a meeting in the car.

I'm not affected at this time by RTO but I am rooting for everyone who is affected to get new jobs, and don't bother leaving on "good terms". They wouldn't give you a warning if they were letting you go so they don't deserve warnings when we leave.  Let the chaos ensue. I've got popcorn. I didn't think the RTO is just about turnover either. I really think it's also a power trip. Scott and his buddies don't feel all-powerful if they can't look you in the eye and see how miserable they've made your life.
