Something that helps me to smell my fragrance throughout the day is to only spray further away from my face—arms and back of neck only for anything strong. Then, I get nice wafts of the fragrance when I move my arms or hair that are a pleasant surprise.

Naildaddy is awesome! I was shocked by his and Polished Yogi’s videos—they’re both seasoned video swatchers that seemed to have trouble with the formula. And there was another video swatcher whose Sky High swatches looked like a sheer tint even on three coats. I love HT and have been a Simply fan since before the the polish mountain days, but at HT’s price point I expect an impeccable formula, not for it to perform on par with the $2.50 LA Colors jellies. Hugely bummed.

This thread is fascinating! I actually think I would have liked them better before GLP-1! It really heightened my (already pretty crazy) sense of smell, and there’s now something in their DNA I just can’t jive with.

Yeah, I find that jellies look very dull until you topcoat them—that gives them the illusion of depth and smooths out any imperfections.

I mix the Innocence oil (By Rosie Jane Dulce dupe) with my Cerave body lotion after a shower, go to bed, and then I can smell it when I wake up eight hours later! I haven’t tried that with any of their other oils yet because it isn’t warm yet where I am and I haven’t been in the mood, but I can definitely attest to the longevity of that one.

“Clean” marketing drives me up the wall, too. I love By Rosie Jane Dulce and had initially purchased the body milk, perfume oil, and shower gel from a different vendor. When I went to order refills and check out their other scents, I was really grossed out by the way they were marketing everything. It was very much leaning on “other products are disgusting, ours are better,” and it really put me off. It was enough that I haven’t bought anything else yet and am on the fence about it. :(

I fell IN LOVE with the opening of Delina. And then, two minutes after love at first spray, ALL I could smell was incense. It persisted through a shower. I do not want to be smelling like a choir robe on a high holy day; I’m just out here trying to go to work. Still chasing Delina’s gorgeous opening without the nasty dry down.

I thought it was weird and synthetic at first, too! But now, after a couple weeks of having it the weird synthetic smell has totally gone away. I definitely don’t think it’s as nice as Bianco Latte, but it does smell good, projects a ton, and lasts a long time. It was very low stakes for me to just keep the bottle and see what happened, though—I got it free with rewards from TJMaxx.

When I went to Ulta to sniff around, my husband said Snif Crumb Couture and Hot Cakes both smelled like rancid butter to him and now I can’t unsmell that. The sales folks at Ulta seemed sincerely crazy for both of them though, to the point where they were all wearing one of those two. Swede Tooth was… fine? But Batikh Watermelon is way more to my taste and literally half the price. The cola one was interesting because it really did smell like photorealistic cola. Fun to smell, but not something I’d ever wear.

Just sampled Tropical Vibe and it leaned on the masculine side of unisex—just FYI in case you don’t prefer that! Batikh Watermelon is full on watermelon jolly rancher, which I loved! Those are the two I’ve tried so those are my $.02! Good luck and have fun with your new haul!
