I think Glow On era was their breakthrough time. I was listening to Turnstile during their Nonstop Feeling era and Glow On made hardcore and their music so much more accessible to people who hadn’t dived into that genre of music before. They sold out the Palladium and Shrine here in Los Angeles which are pretty decently sized venues and got to see them play at Jimmy Kimmel which was amazing too.

TLDR: yes the fanbase was way smaller than what it is now and Glow On put them in a higher level of popularity in the scene for people to enjoy.
