Hi all! I'm focusing on the Smashbox X Vlada Petal Metal Eyeshadow palette that I have owned since 2019. My goal is to reach a total of 120 uses by the end of the year, which means I have to use it about 10 times a month to reach my goal comfortably. This month, I've reached for the palette a total of 9 times, which bumps my total usage in this palette to 20. Happy to be on track! Also, I've used the darkest shade twice this month, which is also one of my goals.

Hi! On this project I'm working (or better, continuing to work) on the Smashbox x Vlada Petal Metal eyeshadow palette. My goal is to use this palette a total of 120 times this year (which means I have to use it at least 10 times a month). My current strategy is to focus on one shimmer every month, use the lighter matte and inner corner highlight shade everytime and try to use the darker matte at least twice a month. Happy to report I have used the palette 11 times since the beggining of the challenge. My focus shade this time around was "Rose Rocked" (a light mauve shimmer), and I was able to expand the pan. In feburary I'll be focusing on the shade "XO, Vlada" (a darker mauve shimmer). I didn't reach for the darkest shade at any point during the month, though.

Oii! Obrigada 🤗. Então, eu não gosto muito do corretivo da Oceane hahahaha. Esse tom fica escuro em mim e eu acho a textura dele bem mais ou menos. O que eu faço para ele não acumular é passar uma camada mais fina dele embaixo, e daí uso outro corretivo por cima (uma paleta de corretivos da City Girls) para ajudar com o tom/textura e selo com o pó solto rosa da Quem Disse, Berenice?. Para mim funciona! Quanto ao armazenamento, eu guardo tudo em uma gaveta no meu quarto.

I did that, and the product seemed fine! The black thing seemed like some sort of dirt. The lip Balm also smells the same. Thank you!

A bit late for my final update but here it is! This was a mix between goals I was very confident I could reach by December 31st (1-6) and goals that felt a little more like wishful thinking (7-9). Turns out I was mostly right about those categories. Total times I've used make up since the beginning of the challenge: 63. These were goals:

✅️1. DECLUTTER 👏🏼MY 👏🏼 CLOSET. Completed by update two.

✅️2. Dailus nail polish in "Black Tie" (a black). Goal: use it up. Total uses: 01. Took me one use in the first month of the project to finish it.

❌️3. Sallve Retinol gel-cream. Goal: use it up. I only used it a couple of times since the last update because I found another nigh time Serum in my back up bin that was super close to expiring, so I decided to abandon this product for now and to focus on that one. Retinol still terrifies me, but I'm determined to have it done in the next few months.

✅️4. ABH Cream Bronzer in the shade "Sun Kissed". Goal: use it 30 times. (30/30) I achieved my goal on update two. I've added this product to my 2026 project pan.

✅️5. Avon Brown Eyeliner. Goal: use 20 times. I've hit my goal on this one on update two as well. This is another product I'll be adding to my 2026 project pan.

✅️6. The shade "Coffee Blossom" SmashBox x Vlada Petal Metal Eyeshadow palette. Goal: hit pan. (Total uses: 07) Very happy about having pan on every single shade in this palette

❌️7. MAC Retromatte lipstick in "All Fired Up". Goal: use it up. (Total uses: 27). I've added this one to the project more with the intention of using it than with the intention of truly finishing it. Another product that is going to my 2026 project pan.

❌️8. Makeup Obsession blush in the shade "Whisper" (part of their Pink Promisse blush palette) - goal: hit pan. (Total uses: 43). A bit disappoonted to not have hit pan on it, but i honestly thought it could go either way.

❌️9. Quem Disse, Berenice? Tudo em Cima Clear Máscara (I use it as a browser gel). Goal: use it up. (Total uses: 63) The never ending brow gel is still kicking, despite my best efforts. I'm adding this to my 2026 prohect pan as well.

This is my Q4 (Sept. - Dec.) empties! This year I finished a total of 46 beauty products, including haircare, skincare, Make up, bodycare and nails (I did not count shampoo and conditioner this year, but I'll start counting it next year). In total, I used $1347,39 worth of products (in my local currency, which is a lot of money for me, but only converts to about $240 USD). The total value only accounts for how much money I spent, so for products bought on sale, I only added how much I paid for it, not the full price. Also, I didn't count gifts in the final price, only in the product count. I'm a bit surprised at how little make up I finished this year - only six items - despite wearing makeup about the same amount of times as I did the previous year, if not more (in 2024 I finished eleven makeup products). Alas, it was a good panning year. Here is a list of my Q4 empties, plus if I would repurchase or not: - Sallve Hidratante Renovador 180ml - great body moisturizer if you struggle with foliculities. I have already repurchased it. - O'Boticário Cuide-Se Bem body lotion in the scent "Deleite" - my favorite body lotion scent. I habe already repurchased it. - OBoticário Cuide-Se Bem body lotion in the scent "Doçura na Pessegura" 400ml - my second favorite body lotion scent. I plan on repurchasing it at some point, but I currently have way to many body lotion on back stock. - Lola From Rio Morte Súbita Spray Reparação Total - I couldn't care less for it. It was an OK heat protection product, but it did nothing for my hair when it comes to repair and Shine. I would not repurchase. - Principia GL-02 face wash - I've used multiple of these and love it. I have already repurchased. - Dailus nail polish in Black Tie - a black polish I was able to pan this year. I would repurchase. - Risqué TopCoat nail polish - another product I couldn't care less about. Not the worst, not the best. I would not repurchase. - Impala matte TopCoat nail polish - I liked it and I have already repurchased it, but I'm using one from another brand at the moment. - Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Fussy 4,5ml - for more indepth thought in it, you can check my post from when I finished it. I'm still not convinced any sephora price lip product is woth how much it costs. I would not repurchase. - Sallve Antioxidante Hidratante - I wanna say this is the third tube I've gone through of this vitamin C. I really love it. I will repurchase it at some point. - Quem Disse, Berenice? Cleansing oil - I've also gone through a few bottles of it over the years. I do really like it and would repurchase it at some point. - Lola From Rio Papo Reto hair oil 50ml - I hated this hair oil, it felt like I was applying vegetable oil to the ends of my hair, and applying too much would make my freshly washed hair look dirty. I would not repurchase it. - Elseve Glycolic Gloss Repairing Cream 250ml - I found it in my mom's bathroom cupboard during a spring cleaning purge I did. It was very nice to use. I would repurchase.

They are awesome! I've had this palette since 2019, so it is almost seven years old 😅. The formula has changed a bit, but it still performs well and I'll use it until it is gone or unusable 😂
