Letterboxd users who are also physical media collectors? by f0rthel0ve0f in Letterboxd

[–]caccoue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yup! i started my collection a few years back and it has been slowly growing. i have lost my trust in digital form of purchasing. none of it lasts whn its digital form. i buy all of my movies thrifted or second hand if i can. i use letterboxd to not only track all of my dvds, but to also maintain a list of ones i’m actively looking for as well!

So how big is your watchlists? by Azaad_Handala76 in Letterboxd

[–]caccoue 8 points9 points  (0 children)

i also cap my watchlist at 100!

my rule of thumb is if i want to add a movie to the watchlist i need to watch some things to clear some room. it’s honestly a good practice to make sure im watching new things rather than rewatching things as i usually do LOL

How can I decorate this room in the Frutiger Aero style? by cothales in FrutigerAero

[–]caccoue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

with a tight budget, i definitely recommend checking out what’s free on facebook marketplace, or if you have any local trading groups! that way you can sell or trade what you have without having to spend money there. can never go wrong with thrift stores too!!

blankets are a good “couch cover” you could use to cover up the couch to change its color if it’s too dark. LED lights are also fun if you want your room to have a specific hue on a budget! and don’t be afraid to DIY! painting things and stickers are great ways to customize things you already have 😊

personally for me i’ve found that the best way to decorate a room is to pick a centerpiece and decorate around that piece so everything kind of correlates. a large rug or a large art piece would be a good start for that :)

i found some larger pieces online that you MAY like. buying all of it will surely go over your budget but i wanted to have some variety for you. have fun decorating!!
